A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored, neat, and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are mostly gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

Spring


The memory scarred me forever.. I remember like it was yesterday. Or was it?

The forest was filled with the scent of pine and... flowers? I sprang out of my den to see just what I expected: the spring equinox had started! Just last night the quiet green meadow surrounded by trees was nothing but... grass? I pranced towards the center and rolled in the grass, my coat became covered in assorted dyes and grass stains but I didn't bother. Just then my father, his horns held high, slowly stepped from the den. I got up and ran to him and screamed "Da-Da!" A rather towering JBD, I was nothing compared to him... He put his head to my level and smiled brightly. I grabbed onto his snout and giggled. He pushed me off lightly. Without words, I knew it meant "Go play."

I yielded to his command and went after the meadow. As I walked slowly, a shiny blue glint caught my eye.. "A budderfly!" I raced after the shiny creature. As I was just about to pounce it took off then landed on the next patch of flowers. I frowned but still chased after it until I had entered the darkness of the forest. With one final leap I had caught the little fluttering creature in my paws then.. CRACK. The sound rang through my ears then my heart started pounding.

I looked side to side then turned around and ran to the den screaming "Daddy!" I came to the horror: he was laying on his side; the grass was blood red much like poppies. I nudged him but he didn't move. I began to sob. I nudged under him arm as my sobbing grew to tears; I closed my eyes and curled up.

When I was born I was never allowed to go outside, due to my over worried parents.Then when my parents weren't looking i went outside, I loved it! I ran up all of the hills, everywhere. but her parents saw I was gone, they got mad and told me i could never go outside again...i didn't listen, i ran away that day, my only friends are animals, im to shy around other JBDs. Now I live in my own dens from place to place, depressed a little, but hopefully someone will care or me! ~ Shika
