While Kar has a dashingly bold coat pattern, she uses at a means of camouflage rather than showing it off. Kar is a quiet and playful creature, preferring to play with small fruits and flowers in solitude, though she does enjoy the company of others she is extremely timid and not overly brave.
Where is her favorite place to hang out?:
Kar can most often be found stalking around in thickets and sometimes climbing into trees where she lays on thick and low brnaches and watches the forest life.
Story/Art:
ART
Thunder raced overhead, battering Karharrarken's ears. The lightning that followed blasted through her visions, burning the image of fat rain droplets and purple swollen clouds, blue tree swiped of all other color. Kar gripped her claws into the branch tighter and clung tightly to the solid wood. Closing her eyes and fighting desperately to calm the wild adrenalin that rampaged through her body. Her chest felt like a black hole, desperate for movement and fighting against her attempts at calm. Finally she couldn't take it any more. Her wings snapped open and every muscle strained as Kar launched herself into the storm, a fiery sort of rage made her muscles work aggressively as she climbed higher and higher into the clouds, rain making her heavy and sliding off her repellent feathers. Lightning cracked all around her, blinding her amber eyes and forcing more adrenalin through her veins. Again light flashed brutally, revealing a very large cliff face in her direct line of motion. With a playful smile and a drastic snap of her wings Kar dove forward and up in one fluid motion, sending her racing parallel to the rock. Reaching the summit Kar angled her wings one more time before landing heavily on the stone. Her proud amber eyes looking out at the land below her. The thunder seemed to roll through her, controlling her. Again the beast closed her eyes and put her head down, fighting to regain control of her own body, still driven by the rawness of the storm. And so she remained, head down, legs splayed, waiting for the storm to end. Fighting desperately to remain as still as the stone below her clawed feet. A smirk had crept onto her face but that was all that moved that night as Karharrarken stood through her silent vigil, fighting to keep her wits about her and stay out of the storm clouds. Normally Kay was meek and not much a thrill seeker, but with the thunder and lightning came a wild demeanor that never ended well for Kar.
