What do feathers mean to him:
They remind him of a legend his grandmother used to tell him, one of the more popular legeds among beans. It's the story of how the blue jay took flight, and story about learning how to spread your wings and fly to your dreams. For Hiro, this was learning how to trust yourself and be confident, not pushed around like a plaything.
Short Personality:
Hiro isn't too complex of a bean, rather more of a simple minded being. He likes to be straight with things, and take the easy way over the adventurous, lesser known one. On top of this, he's rather passive, totally okay with doing stuff for others. This makes him easily manipulated, but ever since he "spread his wings," Hiro is becoming even more of his own person than ever.

In Uccello's mind, feathers symbolize wisdom, and that by keeping a few can help you me more wise to those around you. He acquired the ones he has from a someone he had done a favour for.

That's most definitely true. Even catching a glimpse of a feather makes me feel more wise towards others. I try, but sometimes I don't have the wisdom. And that favour I did...it was challenging, but those feathers made it worthwhile.

Meaning :: Jay's Flight in Lithuanian.

A jaybird's flight is something marvelous to take witness in. It's a natural
beauty that will only be here as long as we will it to be. And as we all carry
on through our daily routines, you'll see cocky little Jay here smirking to
himself as he watches those few little blue bodies flit across the sky in a
fast blur of attractive movement.

Feathers. . ..Are something more than just pieces from a bird's plumage
to him. They're sacred; something that should be taken on sight and put
into a museum where they can never be harmed or broken in the hands
of an idiot. TO him, they symbolize something incredible :: New
beginnings. With each shedding of a feather, a bird is not winded; they
do not just simply drop everything they are doing to put everything they
have towards a lost feather. No. They simply ignore it, knowing that more
will come to take it's place, and that even when new feathers are replaced,
there will always be another to restock their lost soldiers. Jay is like this in
some ways. . .He believes that you should move on from the bad memories,
and continue on to new, happier ones, because, good or bad, there will
always be new things to come forth and made your life worth while.

He may not look like the 'smart type' but he has been found to be one
of the most cunning and dastardly criminals of this age. He casually
walks into a shop, a polite smile on his face as he quietly slips a small,
unnoticeable piece into his pocket. He specifically chooses things that
will not be missed; Thread, parchment, things that are blue, even
something simple as gum.

This little Bean needs to learn to keep his fast talkin' mouth shut.
He never know when to keep his comments to himself! He's always
rambling on about something and turning it around to come off funny
or even just a little hurtful. But he's always sure to let the other Bean
know he's only doing it in good fun.

Observant
Being a man that only leaves his home for certain occasions, he's one
to be wary and observant of his surroundings. He makes sure to
observe every nook and cranny, every corner, every hair and curve of
another's being. He never wants to be hurt like people have so often
whispered about. He never wants to be back stabbed by a friend, or
have his heart broken by a girl. That's why he keeps his humor light
and his conversations small.

Can you say all about me? He treats it as if he's the only JBD in the
room! Goodness. . . His ego's a little big for him if you know what
I mean. He can be sweet when he wants to, don't get me wrong,
but he can be a bit full of himself a lot of the times. I'm not one
to go changing him, but it's definitely one of his weak points.

What do feathers mean to him: When Jayfeather was little, he got lost in a scary deep dark forest. He remembered his mother telling him "Whenever you get lost, follow the blue jays. They always lead to our tribe when in need." Jayfeather found his way home. Since then, Jay-feather has always had a special bind with bluejays.

Short Personality: Sweet, loyal, a good friend, caring, intelligent, and cunning.

Name: Akando - Mean's ambush

What do feathers mean to him: They are a small thought that stays in the back of his mind. Each day that passes by, like a cloud that gets pushed and pulled by the wind on a clear, sunny day. Where everything seems wonderful, and you would just like to take a walk in a a clear field, wishing you're mind were as clear as that. But it almost can never be. And maybe with the comfort of the feathers on Akando's ear, can help him. When he was just a small bean, all he would care about were the days he could feel freedom, and to him, nothing showed more freedom than a bird. They took flight, and went quick, and go as far as they please. But when you're just starting out, it's not so simple. So he's learned. Something so delicate, can disappear in one moment. And maybe that small blue jay, that Akando took pity, resembles something more. And maybe when he scared off the predator, to protect the bird, he saw himself. But why would he wear the feathers? Why does it mean so much to him? Because it shows himself, it shows he's something more.

Short Personality: Good spirited - Even if he's in a bad mood, good one, he usually always act this way. Of course he doesn't shove out his other emotions, and is always caring/happy. But this is the way he comes off, so just let him be himself.
Mysterious - He isn't always good-willed. He likes to keep to himself, and always seems to get stuck in his thoughts. It's difficult for him to explain, and for others to understand him. No one seems to keep up with his train of thought.
Portal - Well, he's not always changing, but He always seems to shift his ways, it's hard to keep tract of what he'll do next, and what he'll say. But it all comes in time with the truth.

Name: Jay. His real name is actually Branch Where The Jay Perches. But people call him jay because, we'll, it's just shorter.
What do feathers mean to him: to him, feathers arent just a part of the bird, they are probably just the most imprtant thing on a bird. they allow the bird to fly, and this also helps them to survive in the wild. they mean that whenever there are troubles in your life, don't hesitate to spread your wings and fly away from your troubles. They also symbolise that, like when a bird sheds its plumage, it is forgetting about the troubles and the past and continuing into the new life. He treasures them. If he loses even one of these feathers, the world ends for him! He won't know what to do. They were all gifts from his mother.

He is a pretty shy jbd. Not talkative at all, likes to keep to himself the majority of the time. He prefers to hang out alone, and isn't a good conversationalist.
