For a long time now I have been interested in Jelly Bean Dragons, but this is the only one that really, truly caught my attention, I really love her design, and she is the first one I am trying out for, I have never had one before, and I don't know what it is about this one, but it just gives me a nostalgic feeling, everytime I look at it I remember the good times i've had with my family and the laughs shared around the table on Christmas day. This Jelly Bean Dragon gives an all around cheery feeling and it would be a wonderful JBD to have.

If I were lucky enough to win her, I would name her Joy. I would name her that because she looks so happy, and reminds me of Christmas, which is one of the happiest times of the year.

I would get so much art of her, I would dedicate my signature and avatar to her. I would roleplay with her, and I would do everything a person could with her.

why you want her;;
I want her for so many reasons. To start off though, it's the fact that she has so much personality. She looks like she would be super kind to anyone at all, and very understanding. She looks like Hot Chocolate to me, and that's my favorite winter drink. I love the color of her eyes, and the Holly on her tail and head. She looks so special, and I love her even though I don't even own her, though I really hope to.

Joy, as you may have already guessed, is very joyful and happy. She can brighten the darkest of all days, and is loved by generally everyone. She is generous, and caring, and is very sweet. Joy gets especially happy around the holidays, when she gives gifts to all her friends and family. Her absolute favorite time of the year is winter, when the snow falls and she drinks hot chocolate by the fire. Some of her favorite winter activities are sledding, having snowball fights and of course, walking through the woods when there is about an inch of snow.

It was the day before Christmas, and Joy was getting ready, buying presents and decorating her house. She hummed happily as she put the last decoration up. Wip

I try to enter for more simple JBD's, as I could draw it more, but I also wanted a JBD that had a bit of personality to him or her. This lovely lady just screams at me to adopt her. <3

The Night Before Christmas
Hollace was wrapping gifts. She was struggling with the tape roll when she heard a loud noise coming from the kitchen. Being the curious, inquisitive dragon she was, she went to investigate. She went to the kitchen, but didn’t see anything there. She looked around a bit longer, then she heard some rustling coming from the living room. She went to go see what it was, and was very surprised when she saw a fat man in a red suit. It was Santa! She ran up behind him and hugged him, squealing, “OMIGOSH OMIGOSH OMIGOSH IT’S YOU!!! IT’S REALLY YOU!!!!!!!!” And she gave him some milk and cookies and waved goodbye. As she watched him going off, she thought to herself that it was the best Christmas ever.

No, no, NO!! You’re telling it WRONG! That’s not how it happened.

Okay, smarty pants, you tell it then.

Okay. Well, it was the night before Christmas, and I was wrapping presents because I forgot to. The stupid tape wasn’t cooperating so I had to throw it into the kitchen. Then I went to get it and I couldn’t find it! But then it was under the kitchen table, so I ducked down to get it. Then I heard this noise coming from the living room! And I ran to go see what it was and it was SANTA!!! So I hugged him and gave him all tie’s cookies --

Hey!!

-- and some milk and I let him fill my stocking and then I let him go. And then he left in his little sleigh with his teeny-tiny cutesy little reindeer. And it WAS the best Christmas ever.

‘Twas the Night

‘Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, except for -- Hollace?!

She was up, wrapping last-minute gifts in a rush
Struggling with paper and tape, her face flushed.

The tape wasn’t working, she started to yawn
But she just had to get these gifts wrapped before dawn!

When one final tug on the tape didn’t work,
She just threw it into the kitchen, berserk!

But then she felt guilty, she went to go get it,
She found it under the table and then her head hit

The edge of the table, well, that wasn’t fair!
She slapped at the table and gave it a glare.

Then she heard a strange noise coming from the next room,
An odd sort of thump followed by a loud boom.

She went to go see what the fuss was about
And she saw -- could it be? -- it was Santa, no doubt!

She ran up to hug him and said with a squeal,
“Oh, thank you so much Santa, now that you’re here,

Why don’t you have, here, some cookies and milk,
I’m sure that ol’ tiedye won’t mind. She won’t melt.”

And Santa said merrily, “Oh, what a girl!
Why thank you,” He said, and he left in a whirl.

Hollace watched, and he said as he flew out of sight,
“Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
