Owner Name:
roses.
Name:
Blossom
Gender:
Female
Personality:
Blossom is one of the sweetest little things you can meet, though she does have her moments in which she can be a tad bit rude, but that is due to her naivety. When in a happy mood Blossom will constantly compliment, praise, and speak with others. It does not matter whether or not she likes them or doesn't, she'll still openly talk to them. Although she does not have many enemies due to her sweet personality. As well as being naive she is also completely curious. She would rather spend her time hopping from tree to tree and questioning everything then sitting calmly and still like some ask her to do. There is no keeping this little ball of energy calm, she moves around far too much. When she is in a hyper mood there is no stopping her from talking. She'll go on and on and on with no problem whatsoever. Being such a cute little rune many others find it hard to say no to her. Which she uses to her advantage, often getting others to do things for her. Blossom is cheerful and is always ready for some adventure. On the occasional times this little girl gets mad she doesn't stay mad for long, in a way she doesn't like being mad. She finds it somewhat useless actually.
Why do you wish to have him/her:
Blossom is such an adorable little girl! Her seemingly adorable attitude and almost clumsy like climb onto her peach made me smile. I've wanted a rune for a while but so far have managed to miss them or never saw them-which is a shame. But to get her would just make my day! And with her four paws, it makes me feel a little more connected with her. I've always been the different one around, but for some reason people still like me, and I feel like I have that in common with her!
Where will you keep him/her:
Character thread as well as possibly my sig.
Would you like to breed him/her in the future:
Sure!
Any Quirks:
-Blossom has a tendency to accidentally insult others.
-She also tends to snap at others when they touch her special peach.
-She chews on twigs when she's nervous
-When excited she bounces up and down before running off
Short Story:
The fall weather was so crisp, cold winds blowing gently through the trees. The trees around rose tall, harvesting bounties of fruit that would soon fall. The ground beneath my feet was slowly beginning to get cold, the once green grass starting to take on more of a brown color. Even the tree leaves were beginning to change to the brilliant colors they achieved. Reds as bright as the filling in a cherry pie, oranges exactly like pumpkin pie, and yellows that made the sun falter in shame. It was a beautiful sight, offering some sort of tranquility throughout this land. I couldn't have asked for a better day to go for a walk.
Rested on my shoulder was Blossom, curled up against me. She was curled into my neck, eyes wide open as she looked from place to place in amazement. I glanced at my side to her as she leaned forward to look at some thing in the distance. "What is it?" I asked her curiously, reaching up to touch her cheek. She leaned into my finger and took a step closer. She rested her front legs on my head before practically climbing on top of my head. "I saw something," She said almost sadly, adding in a sigh at the end. I felt bad. She seemed so sad, like she needed whatever she had seen. I stopped, picking her from my head and bringing her around front to me. I pulled her closer to me, watching as once again she moved to get comfortable.
I was conflicted. We needed to get to our next destination before winter began, and we couldn't waste any time. But she seemed like she wanted it so badly! And I knew in the end she would manage to get it in the end. I knew that. Whether I willingly stopped to let her, or she ran off to get it for herself. And I didn't want her to run off! I had lost her several times just because she ran off to do something. Long ago I had learned it was easier to go with her then against her. I turned back around, walking back a few feet. "Where we going now?" She asked with interest, beginning to become excited. She stood up, looking around in excitement. Once we had reached the same area I set her down on the ground, watching as she began to bounce up and down in place. "Now listen up Blossom," I began sternly, "If I let you go get whatever it is you saw, you have to come right back here. Understood?" I asked, noticing the truthful nod of her head before she had taken off into the trees. I straightened up, watching the area of which she had run off.
After a few moments I caught a glimpse of her peach coloring running up a tree with haste. As I looked up at the tree I noticed it was a peach tree. Why on earth was this little rune so interested in a peach tree? They were peaches? I knew she loved to be up in trees, looking around and studying the fruit, but she had studied a peach tree a while ago! After a few moments I had lost her in the mess of leaves and peaches. I sat back down, leaning against the trunk of a tree to await her return.
It took a few minutes but finally she came running back. It seemed different though, like she was tumbling over herself. As she drew closer I noticed she had something tucked into her body. Did she grab a peach? "What do you have there Blossom?" I asked, crossing my legs and leaning over as she came over. She crawled into my lap, holding the peach close. After a moment she turned to me, holding it up. "Look!" She exclaimed happily. I smiled back at her. She was so adorable. I reached for the peach, figuring she had grabbed it for me. "Thank you Blossom." As I was about to touch it she drew away and bit at my finger. In shock I yanked back, eyes widening at the behavior. I never expected my little sweetheart to ever try and bite me! I saw her as she drew the peach even closer to her body. "It's mine! You can't take it!" She yelled desperately. I pulled my hands away, allowing her to keep the peach close. "Okay. I won't. But what's so great about it?" I asked her, curious as to why she was so interested in a single peach. I knew her to lose interest rather quickly, going from thing to thing almost constantly. But it seemed like she was truly worried about this single peach. And it looked perfectly normal! "It's special." She answered, looking up at me with wide eyes.
That was close to three months ago. Blossom still has that peach with her, carrying it around and keeping it close to her. I don't understand it, and I'm not sure Blossom does either. But she loves that peach more then anything and she never lets it get far from her. She has even reserved a pocket in my booksack especially for her when she can't carry it around. I never question her love for it, I've just learned to not try and touch it. We reached our destination in time, getting there a week before the beginning of winter. I can't imagine how Blossom would be if she didn't have it.
Poem:
Beautiful trees that float in the wind.
Something rolling in the colored leaves
A tree is what it hides behind.
It is something I never believed.
Approaching closer.
Hidden by the ghostly moon.
Hiding behind the tree is no puff of air.
But a Baby Peach Rune.
So adorable!
Calling for me!
Who would leave her? So horrible!
Her, hidden behind this peach tree!
Wouldn't the things we could do be awesome!
I'll love her to death!
I'll name her blossom!
She's so cute! I'm out of breath!
