His knees quiver and his breath comes short, too, when he notices all of the different angles a predator can use to attack him in clearings and open valleys; to him, it's a giant spotlight that brings far more danger than he would really like to concern himself with. To avoid confronting this fear, he tries to stick to dense woods with small clearings that he can graze in... but there are times that he just can't avoid it, and it makes him an awful, sweaty, shaking mess.

Forgive me for putting more, but I have to explain this. His name is a Native American Miwok name that translates to "yellow jacket nest rising out of the ground". He was named this because as a young colt, he was playing in the fields and thought a particular raised area was only a simple hill. He 'claimed' it, as colts do in their games, but didn't understand why the others weren't trying to take it from him. With all of his prancing and rearing he disturbed the nest, and was stung nearly to the point that he would die from the venom. Luckily he managed to pull through, but he's been terrified ever since. If he even so much as hears a yellow jacket buzz nearby, he'll turn and bolt, and usually won't stop running for quite a while.
