Name:
Shayla
Story about how she collected all of her string:
Shayla has always had a knack for making jewelry and has always loved the little bits and pieces that go into it. She went to every store, searching far and wide for the most interesting thing to incorporate into her designs, but no matter how many beautiful beads and interesting strings she found, she had never been able to find the perfect components for her own accessories. One day, about 6 months ago, Shayla was in a small, simple shop just looking for fun things to use. In a small nook of the store, there was a table covered with colorful beads that caught the light in just the right way. Shayla absolutely had to have them, but without any strings to attatch them to, there was no point in having them. She didn't have to search far to find thin, black leather strings that the beads could be perfectly strung upon to make the dream jewelry that Shayla had been searching her life for. Later, when she went home, she attatched orange feathers she had bought years ago to add just a tad more pazazz to her accessory.

Story about how she collected all of her string: Prancing on the road there was something just laying there with its lifeless body. She picked it up, tossed it in the air and it landing on her antlers! "ooo what a nice touch to my wardrobe!" she thought. Jumping threw a grocery store, she saw something laying there, with a lifeless body. She threw it up and it landed on her neck. " Oh! These sure do spice up my wardrobe!" she thought and pranced away.Skipping along on the edge of the park she saw something laying there with its lifeless body. She kicked it up, but instead of landing on her tail, it wrapped around her ankle! "Oh what a splendid touch to my wardrobe! I think i will wear these all the time!" She thought and prance away with strings hanging off of her.

Name:
Shika, japanese for deer
Story about how she collected all of her string:
when shika was little she loved playing with a ball of string. but over the years of course it fell apart. shika just started to collect the loose strings and make jewelry. then she ran out of jewels and feathers so she just wrapped the extra around her horns and neck.
her mother loved the jewelry she made and gave her more string, jewels and feathers. shika wasn't she wanted jewelery all over her so she sold her extra jewelry. many of her customers said it broke with such weak string. so her store didn't turn out to well but she still loves the jewelry she has.

You're on a different road
I'm in the Milky Way
You want me down on Earth,
but I am up in space

I will not bow
I will not break
I will shut the world away
I will not fall
I will not fade
I will take your breath away

Name:
Noelle
Story about how she collected all of her string:
It was a crisp Fall morning, dry leaves crunched under Noelle's paws as she frolicked through the forest. None of the other Kiamaras were awake yet, Noelle's mother didn't like the idea of her exploring too far away, so Noelle had to wake up extra early if she wanted to do anything.
"Ouch!" She exclaimed, she stepped on a pricker, and it got stuck in her paw pad. It wasn't too deep, so she just pulled it out with ease, and continued to run deeper into the forest. She loved the feel of the wind brushing through her hair, and the scent fresh Autumn air.
Moments passed, and eventually she smelled something unfamiliar. She slowed, and peered through the trees. She saw an old den. She hadn't seen a den like this before, or atleast, she thought it was a den. It had for transparent squares in the front, but they were kinda broken and dusty, and small cobwebs were visible from the inside. In the middle of the den, there was a rectangular opening. Carefully, Noelle walked inside. It was defiantly abandoned, only faint, old scents could be smelled of any life living in there.
Noelle snooped around, looking for something cool to keep. She saw a desk, and sparkly orange and grey beads caught her eye. She immediately bounded over to the desk to examine these beads. She tried to scoop them up and take them, but they were attached to string. At first, she didn't like the string. She tried to remove the string from the beads, but in the process, she got three beads wrapped around her right ankle. This gave her an idea. She wrapped the last two beads around the end of her tail, next to her feather.
This was not enough. Noelle wanted more, but there was no more beads. Only a few more pieces of string. They were still pretty, and she put some on her horns, her back left ankle, and her neck.
Now she pranced out of the old den, feeling fully accessorized.

Name:
Awi
(Cherokee word for 'deer')

Story about how she collected all of her string:
Awi was born in a quiet wood rather near a small tribe. Even though her mother warned of the dangers of man, she has always been intrigued by people. Awi especially loves to watch the women of the tribe make their lovely jewelry. She waits till the other members of her heard head out on their daily routine before finding a spot out of sight near where the women make the crafts. Awi sits in awe as they swiftly thread, weave, and assemble the glittering works of art, fascinated by the lengths of thread and beads. "Such simple objects used in such an amazing way." she says to herself. Now it is really tough for anyone to sneak up on Awi, she is always alert and aware of her surroundings so it was more than a shock when she turned to see a little girl peering at her from the other side of the bush. Awi didn't know whether run off into the woods or stay, being the curious Kiamara she is Awi interacted with the child. She made sure to be as nonaggressive as possible as to not alarm the girl, Awi was surprised again when she took a piece of string from behind her back and held it to her. Awi stared at the string admiring what could be done with it, then almost as if the child read her mind, the girl reached out and tied it to one of her horns. Awi was overcome with excitement and placed her nose in the girls palm to show he thanks, the young child giggled and went back to join her mother at the tent. Over the course of the month these events repeated, with Awi watching the women and then the girl coming and tying a new string onto her. The child even brought a few of the stunning, gleaming beads and tied them on as well. She developed a friendship with the girl sometimes even running and playing in the words together. One day while they were frolicing, the child found some smally fuzzy orange feathers. She quickly gathered them up and afixed them to Awi's strings, she was so touched by the actions of this human girl and gave her a hug. As the months went on and winter approached, Awi's heard move to their snow den to live out the cold months. She couldn't help but wonder about her new friend and what the tribe might be up to. Awi was so happy when spring came around and they moved back to their patch of forest, but to her dissmay the tribe had left. There was only a few bits of debris left behind on the ground. Awi was so saddened she spent the better part of the day wondering around the abandoned grounds. She somberly walked over to where the craft tent had stood, when she looked down she spied something in the grass, one last piece of string had been left behind. Awi gingerly picked it up and tied it around her back ankle, one final length to help her remember the people and young friend she had grown to admire.
