Reason why he has an accessory:
All skys life he had a creative mind and it fallowed him through out his childhood years up beyond towards his teen years but he always stood in the feilds and watched the blue jays circle around the trees and fallow each other in a dance only the birds understood what it ment. As Sky sat and watched the birds over the years he began to envy them as he grew older and older because sometimes life can be difficult and birds seemed so careless and free out there flying in their dance. One day when jay was watching the birds a feather dropped right by him, he had this feather with him through out the years and when he got the earing with all the other bird feathers he decided to put the jay feather in with the others. He had it with him forever because he always thought, with the bird feathers, he would always be with them in some sort of way and he could be careless and free with them too.

Reason why he has an accessory:
Since Octavian became mute, he was singled out and the only friend he made was a Blue Jay. Once the Jay passed away, Octavian became even quieter(if possible). He stayed to himself,quite quiet, and kept one of his friends feather, wrapping it around his tail with some leather twine.

Reason why he has an accessory:
Well, Mordecai is blind. He wasn't always, though.
As a bean, he enjoyed gazing out the window at the world he couldn't go out to. His parents were always overprotective of him, and the only outside interaction he ever had was viewing the birds outside. They always seemed so free and Mordy wanted to be like them, too, do when his parents weren't aware, he went outside. It's not too sure why he went blind, but from that day onward,Mord has worn the blindfold as a reminder of his incident.

Cyanocitta, or just Cyano; The genus name of a Blue Jay.
Accessory:
Cyano has a necklace that he never takes off. His mother gave it to him when he was younger. It is a few strands of twine braided together tightly; two strands are dyed: one is colored with blueberry juice and another with strawberry juice. Hanging on the twine is a small tail feather of a Blue Jay. Next to the feather is a small, polished disc of blue geode. A small, broken hole in the top is where a thick braid runs through the geode.
Reason why he has an accessory:
His mother made it for him before she sadly passed. Cyano has treasured the necklace ever since, polishing the geode disc and making sure the blue jay feather doesn't get frayed. In fact, it meant so much to him that when a small piece chipped off of the geode disc near the hole, Cyano nearly burst into tears.

Reason why he has an accessory: He wears the DreamCatcher Necklace because it is special to him. He was given it as an honor because he was very brave in a fierce battle between an enemy. The Bluejay feathers represent him, the Goldfinch feathers represent timeless treasure in his spirit, and the Eagle feathers are a symbol of bravery amongst the tribes. He is known as a brave warrior in battle, but also as a kind friend to others.

I like wearing this accessory because it makes me feel like a leader and you often see pilots wearing them, i'd love to fly... The feather represents me, the fact that i look like one is cool, and the bandanna is just something that tells you about my personality...and my dreams.

Name: Benu. The Egyptians believed their first god, or deity was a half bird, as many of their gods were half human. They referred to him as Benu- he was the one who created them.
Accessory: A black necklace with the feather of a carved and painted blue jay and a dove feather.
Reason why he has an accessory: Many have told him he has the coloring a of a jay, and he has come to like these animals very much. He wishes he could fly just like them- all birds really. The dove feather is in representation of peace- he wants to be calm and peaceful, like a dove would represent. His grandfather carved it for him, as he knew his grandsons interests, and that has made it even more dear to him.

name;; Caeru- caeruleus or caerulean is the latin word for "blue." I thought Caeru would make it less translated-sounding and unique as well.
accessory;; Caeru's most prized possession is the pair of blue gloves he owns. They resemble boots, because they have lace-up fronts. The string in the lace is actually many blue jay feathers, braided into an intricate string. The gloves have little holes for Caeru's toes, giving them a more natural yet tough appearance.
reason for Caeru's accessory;; Caeru's gloves may seem like a pointless fashion, but they actually have deep sentimental meaning to him. When Caeru was very young, he was fascinated with jays. He went birdwatching whenever he could, and he was proud of his resemblance to the beautiful creatures he had dedicated his life to. He collected the jays' feathers whenever he found them, and always dreamed of making something out of them, though he was not good with his paws. When he turned ten years old, however, a blue jay attacked Caeru when the young dragon was attempting to take one of her eggs. Caeru was left with a scar on his left paw and a hatred for blue jays in his heart, although he knew exactly what he'd been doing to provoke the jay. He scattered his collection of feathers to the winds, and took to doing everything he could to shut the bird-loving part of him away.
When Caeru turned fifteen, he was still an undersized, scrawny dragon. Others teased him because of his lack of skills and dark, hostile manner. It didn't help that Caeru's father was badly ill, and that Caeru could do nothing to help him. On Caeru's sixteenth birthday, his father passed away. Luckily, it was not unexpected, and Caeru had some time to talk to his father before he died in his sleep.
The first thing Caeru's father said was, "Don't give up."
"On what?" Caeru replied.
"Your dreams- the jays, and your feathers."
"I already threw my feathers away, dad." Caeru didn't mention his anger at the jays he had loved for so long, or the scar on his paw that still throbbed when he was nervous or afraid. He didn't want to upset his father, especially not now it seemed they were about to be parted forever.
"I found them, Caeru. I searched so hard... I wanted to remind you that you still have a place... with them. They are your family Caeru- you cannot ignore them, as long as you may live." his father held out the laces he had made with all the feathers he had scavenged. "These are for the leader's gloves. You will be the next leader of our jam, Caeru."
Caeru found that he was at a loss for words. He glanced over at the corner of his father's den, where a small stool sat. On the stool rested the pair of gloves his father had worn for as long Caeru could remember. They were old, and worn, a stained blue color, but their leather was tough. The gloves had a history, as Caeru's father had told him. They had belonged to the first leader of their jam, which was one of the oldest ones. The leader had created their jam as an example to others. It was one of the first ten jams, and for them, the gloves showed who the leader was. Caeru's father was the current one, but after he was gone....
"I can't be leader. I'm too young." and my paws are too small, Caeru thought shamefully. They'll slip around in the gloves for sure.
"Your mother will keep them until you are old enough. You will grow into them."
And, on Caeru's twenty-first birthday, he tried on his father's gloves again- and found that they fit. He undid the old, crumbling laces, and wove in the ones his father had given him five years ago. Feeling a rush of hop and power wind through him, Caeru lifted his head high, and bounded across the meadow where he had spent all his time bird-watching many years ago. "I'm back!" he shouted to the jays, who were riding the wind above him. "I'm back, and I promise I'll never leave again."
