Lion Dragons wrote:Lion dragons are a fluffy, well-tempered subspecies of dragons. Lion Dragons are around the size of a Boxer at their largest. They are found all over the world in large numbers, and they have been found in almost every color in existence. Today, Lion Dragons are often used as household pets due to their good temper and small size. They are very energetic, and love to play games. Lion Dragons are very sociable, and love to meet new friends. They are omnivores, eating meat, plants, and almost any other food they can get their paws on.
I almost kept this one, I swear. xD But I already have enough characters and I'm trying to get rid of some,
So I was like - no. Sorry hotty. I guess I was feeling tribal.

Name:
Variel
{Meaning 'Unique' in Spanish.}
Gender:
Female
Age:
Variel is only about five years old.
Personality:
Variel has a hot temper. She often flies off the handle and pounces on anyone who dares disturb her or her friends. She hates it when anyone messess with her stuff and is quite sensitive to pain. Variel has an extremely short temper and is quite innovative. She is easily frustrated when someone doesn't get her ideas or plans.
Variel is bold, daring, and brave. She isn't afraid to tell anyone what she thinks, even if her opinion could get her into trouble. She loves coming up with new ways to solve the problems that often arise in her hectic life. She never gives up and will work on something until it is finished, which lends her a hand when she's lost on one of her adventures.
Variel is extremely spacially aware and is very observant. She catalogs everything she sees and has a photographic memory. She loves it when her friends try to sneak up on her, because it gives her a chance to practice her skills. They often fail, but her closest friends have been getting stealthier lately. Who knows, he might end up scaring his sister one day.
Variel is a very private person. She doesn't discuss herself with just anyone, because she's got some trust issues. It takes a lot for her to trust you, but once she does you are friends for life. She is inseperable from her friend Eris, often pulling him along on her many adventures.
That being said, Variel is really an outgoing dragon. When it comes to starting conversations with people she doesn't know... let's just say no topic is off limits. She is a light sleeper, usually taking at least an hour before falling asleep, and even then she is always ready for anything that dares threaten her or her friends in the night. Being that she is a large, scary (though sweet) dragon helps, too.
She tends to pick up on the emotions in the creatures around her, switching her mood to match theirs. Her life is a hard one, but she loves it, and she wouldn't want anything else.
Story/Art:
Variel grimaced as the slimy ball of mud flew towards her head. She ducked at the last minute, the mud splattering against the tree behind her.
"Eris! Cut that out!" she growled, sending a scorching glare towards her enemy. He smiled and waved before dissapearing behind a clump of bushes with his friends, cackling madly.
Variel shook her head, dismissing Eris and his blockhead friends, and went back to drawing plans in the dirt.
When a second ball of sticky mud landed at her paws, splattering over her work, she swung around to growl at the culprit. This time it wasn't Eris, but his best friend. The other Lion Dragon grinned and smirked at Variel.
"What's the matter sweetheart, got a little mud on your stuff?" he said sweetly, tilting his head. If the male hadn't been teasing her, Variel would have thought he was kind of cute.
"Get lost, Eris." she snarled half-heartedly, her jaws parting to reveal rows of pearly white teeth. Eris gulped, obviously he hadn't known that this rose had thorns.
"S-so-orry Variel." he stammered before fleeing into the bushes, the rest of his friends running behind him.
"Score!" Variel shouted once they were far enough away, punching the air with her paw.
"Next time I've got to create an even scarier prank. How about fire, or spiders.... fire and spiders?" she mused, walking around a tree and was lost from sight.
After I adopt Variel I plan to adopt another dragon with the name Eris. He isn't technically alive yet, though.
