Why do I want to Adopt him?He's gorgeous and just look at his eyes! He's truly my dream jelly bean dragon and I just love anything that has to do with astronomy! He's very unique, most JBD's have regular eyes, but his are very special!I would be really honored to have him as my first Jellybean dragon!

What will I do with him?Well, if I win him, I'll first go and register an account on the fanclub website then start making his page. Then I'll draw tons of art for him, find more friends for him, add a lot more stuff to his profile and maybe roleplay with him

How he got the sun in his eyes: When he as an egg, his parents built their nest on a tall mountain, leaving it almost always in sunlight. Eventually the beautiful orange of the shell formed a bright yellow sun shape on it, and when he hatched and opened his eyes for the first time, his eyes looked like the egg shell, an orange with a bright sun in the center

Personality:

Sunkist is pretty complicated. I will list his positive traits first, and then negative.

Okay, his positive traits- there are many. This little ray of sunshine can brighten up any room just by walking into it. His optimism and cheeriness is contagious, spreading to everyone he comes into contact with. He prefers cheering people to putting them down. As implied, he is very outgoing and not afraid to strike up a conversation. It can get to be a bit much, when he becomes a bit too talkative. Sun is also flexible, both open to schedule changes and new ideas. He's quite sincere and means things when he says them, especially complements. Sunkist is smart, quick-witted, and resourceful. He can make the most of situations, find solutions and compromises, and uses resources wisely. He has good reflexes. To be honest, he feels that he needs to make up for his "sunburn" moments by trying to be cheery most of the time.

His negative traits are mostly mild. However, his bi-polar sunburn moments can make him unpleasant to be around. Okay, enough beating around the bush. He can be a downright terror. He becomes snappy, angry, pessimistic, and the opposite of his usual self. Otherwise, his main problems are fairly minor. For example, he is picky. He changes his mind often and quickly, and just has odd little quirks like only eating sandwiches in fourths. Sunkist is also known to be a bit compulsive, acting on instinct that may be wrong. Another undesirable trait of his is that he is fairly boastful. He loves talking about his accomplishments and achievements a little too much. Conversations often go like this: "Hey, did I tell you about the time I-" "Yes, Sunkist, you have told me 4 times today."

Overall, though, he is a nice little boy with a bright personality and a few quirks.

Helios is the name of the mythologic Greek sun god who rode his chariot across the heavens. I chose this name for this lovely JBD due to his striking sun-themed appearances and glittering eyes that give him a bright and eye-catching look. He looks as if he could be a mythologic character himself! I considered keeping Sunkist as his name, though I switched it to Helios as I felt it was more masculine, and would fit his personality better. Most of the time Helios goes just by his forename, though he doesn't mind if his friends call him Heel from time to time.

When in a good mood, Helios is very chipper and optimistic. Just like the blinding sun, he loves being the center of everyone's attention and making others laugh. He craves positive attention, and love nothing more then impressing others. However, he has a downside. His mood can alter in a flash, and a quick insult can throw him into upset, causing him to be snappy and bitter with others. However, when his mood lightens, he's usually very forgiving and will feel guilty about his past attitude.

{Why I Want Helios}
Okay, first of all, who wouldn't want this lovely JBD? The design is original and well drawn, and combine that with Hiccup's adorable lineart, you get a Jellybean Dragon that you just can't put down. When I first saw the link you posted on the JBD adoption page, I just expected to see any old JBD up for re-adoption, but once I saw this design I was taken away. Not only is it one of Wolf Blood Song's designs (all of the designers are great, but I'm a personal fan of WBS' style c; ) but it was sun themed. As you can probably tell by my fire-colored signature and username, I'm really into astronomy, especially the sun and stars. I think it'd be really awesome to own a JBD that resembles my interests so well. Helios also fits a few more quirks I've been looking for in a JBD. For one, he's male, and I've been searching for a male JBD in a while, since my others are female. Two, he is orange, which is one of my favorite colors. His unique eyes also look like gemstones, which I collect. Overall, this JBD really is special to me and I'd feel so lucky to win him. Be warned; art of him may flood the CS Oekaki! xD

So, sorry if this was a bit ramble-y but I just wanted you to know how fond I am of the design. Good luck picking a winner, I'm sure he'll go to a great home. =D
