This next horse provided a rest to the handlers as he was lead out into the auction hall. Unlike the wild mustang stallion, this thoroughbred allowed himself to be brought in calmly. His long neck was arched and his steps were high. An unusual white stripe ran up his side from under his girth. This is not a natural marking, but his hair has actually been turned white in that spot. It was the result of a combination from his girth getting bleached because it was used from horse to horse and possibly the tack rubbed.
This big boy is an off the track race horse. He didn't have the competative drive to win and placed dead last in all of his races except his last in which he placed second to last.

What will the rest of his life be like?: Well, if I happen to get Spartan he'll be enjoying life as a jumper. I think he'd make a beautiful and bold jumper. Though sometimes I think we'll enjoy are day trail riding or loping around in some open fields. Life is going to be sweet from here on out in this guy's world.

I know what your thinking Dia. Yes, I do enter for your horses a lot, but this ones for me. I don't wanna go into too deep of details, but this horse just pulled me in. A few years ago I rescued a mare and gelding from abuse and pain, leading to the gelding getting a new home. The mare stole my heart and became my first very own horse, I broke her and everything at the age of ten. Then two days after Christams she was murdered by some dogs down the street....I watched in pain. I couldn't save her in the end!! God she was the best horse a girl could ever ask for. I may have saved her, but in the end she saved me... So you see this stallion looks just like she once did, right down to the markings. Its like I asked you for a custom...

Her real name was Romy if anyone was wondering. And I didn't ask for a new horse or money from the dog's owner...because you can't put a price on family and friendship.

But I read your little message and couldn't bear the thought of anything like that happening to my own little mare. It was too much to handle.
