Background history: Aylen got her name when she was two weeks old. It means "happiness" in Native American. At that time, there was not much water for the Oxiries to drink, it was a quite hot summer and nearly all grass was burnt by the sun. Aylen was the only foal this year, and when she was born it brought so much hope and happiness to the herd that now they felt much better. Watching her the first time she tried to stand up, to run, to discover the world made them all forget about the bad things - and still today she is the Oxirie that is best in having a good mood, and when she laughs it is heard all over the Savannah.
