Lion Dragons wrote:Lion dragons are a fluffy, well-tempered subspecies of dragons. Lion Dragons are around the size of a Boxer at their largest. They are found all over the world in large numbers, and they have been found in almost every color in existence. Today, Lion Dragons are often used as household pets due to their good temper and small size. They are very energetic, and love to play games. Lion Dragons are very sociable, and love to meet new friends. They are omnivores, eating meat, plants, and almost any other food they can get their paws on.

Gallows is a man for pranks and trickery. The adrenaline rush just drives him crazy whenever he pulls off a prank successfully! Sometimes though, he can't help but always pull little tricks and pranks on other fellow lion dragons. The others find it to be his job, sometimes. . .
Though his tricks would never harm a fly, it sometimes gets on the nerves of the other lion dragons and when confronted for his pranks, Gallows would pull off a act of pure innocence.
In general, he is quite the fiendish lion dragon of all of them as of yet, even for being the Halloween lion dragon.
In fact, he does enjoy Halloween, but more so for the tricks he can pull before the treats he can receive. He doesn't really care for the "treat" portion that much.
Besides that, Gallows is also that one lion dragon other lion dragons look up to for advice or help. Gallows can become a pretty mellow and relaxed lion dragon when not out causing discord of any sort, and that's normally the perfect time to catch up with him and try to engage in a nice conversation with him. Of course he's friendly! Why would you think otherwise?
He's just a bit more intimidating than the other lion dragons you've come to know. . .~
Today was one of those colder days where the wind was rather notable as the leaves parted with their branch and into the flow of the wind. The reds leaves mixed with the yellow leaves as they slowly floated away from the gust and down to the ground where some of the more natural-colored leaves lied, waiting for winter's white blanket to fall upon them. But until then, there were other things to be done.
Gallows was found striding proudly down the fields by his lonesome, his snout raised up into the sky as the wind blew through his mane and longer tufts of fur. Today is one of his down days. He felt that today was one of those days every lion dragon would want to embrace before the harsh winter that was soon approaching. Yes, it is still the beginning of autumn, but one can never predict when the weather would pull a fast one on them all.
Suddenly Gallows stopped as a big bundle of leaves being carried by the wind came right at him and smacked him in the face. Softly, Gallows grunted, shaking off any leaves that stuck to his mane after such a occurrence. Gallows glared up at the sky for a bit before continuing his aimless journey to nowhere in particular. The day was still fresh, and he planned on enjoying it.
Up until a small fox-like creature with sheep's horns came running right into his foreleg. . .
Gallows loomed over the small creature questioningly, the sight making the fox cower a bit in fear as he looked straight into the bigger animal's blood-red eyes.
"So... should I ask why you're running around like a fool?" Gallows questioned as the fox quickly scurried up onto all fours, looking up at the mighty lion dragon before him.
"It was, uh, nothing," the small fox stuttered. "I was just startled by the wind is all. I'm sorry!"
"Whoa, little guy, slow down," Gallows reassured the creature before walking around the fox creature. "It's no problem at all."
The fox looked back at the calm lion dragon he just ran into. Slowly did the fox's ears fold back up into their natural position as he watched the lion dragon walk away slowly. Then Gallows paused and glanced back at the fox, looking at him with his glossy-red eyes. "But I'd watch your back."
The fox let out a sudden shriek and dashed off, this reaction being something Gallows did not even expect as he rolled onto his back and into a pile of leaves, laughing manically at the reaction of the strange animal.
As Gallow's laughing ceased, the echo of his laughter fading out slowly, he breathed in and out again, letting out a sigh of relief.
Okay, he needed something to perk up his day a bit, and he knew he didn't have to do that but he needed to break the peace of things a bit. Life always seemed pretty majestic for a creature like him, and indeed, it was like that for many of his kind. How awfully boring.
This kind of stuff is what fuels Gallows, oddly enough, not just running around like a wild horse would, majestically boring the crap out of him. His paradise was something else entirely. . .
He liked the atmosphere of the holiday he represents solely, an atmosphere that holds not only the fears of many but the joy it sometimes brings. Okay, fear is something some people do not enjoy, but to play with them is something else entirely. He enjoys that sensation so much. . .! Sometimes he wishes he wasn't the one who always pulled pranks and tricks on others, rather, someone pull a prank on him for once.
What he would do for that thrill. . .
Gallows finds his home to be more of a place to plot, never to be alone. His home lies beneath your feet. . .
Well, actually it's a underground cave he discovered after a bad storm and a large tree had been uprooted slightly, the roots pulling up enough dirt to make an opening to this hidden cave. It's rather cozy though hazardous to him, for another storm could cause the tree to uproot completely and come caving in on his home!
Though Gallows could care less. He barely sleeps, and if he does, it's normally a nap in a pile of leaves or a bush he crosses along his wandering path.
Within his cave lies what he needs to plan out pranks, and even to hide his food (which he rarely eats). Sometimes the rotting food casts an awful smell that rises from within the cave to the surface, warding off any animal that would ever want to go inside.
Also, it's not a tree no one has ever seen before. . . It's a very popular tree, known as The Hollow Tree. Owls normally nest within the thick branches of the tree along with the humongous trunk. It still grows leaves on its aging branches, but in the fall, they turn into a beautiful assortment of red and yellow colors before falling and decomposing on the ground.
Yes, sometimes Gallows hates to return home, but sometimes he doesn't like being out in the snow for too long, its cold bite nipping at the pads of his paws. Others have a tendency of inviting him to stay at their home, but only the bravest of souls do this for him. . .~
- Pranking fellow lion dragons is his forte. Sometimes it's his main way of saying simple things like "Hello" or "I like you" or "Can I stay here for the night? It's cold outside". . . Okay. . . people just know what he needs sometimes. He just doesn't immediately realize it like they do.~
- Poking fears in the face with others. . . Ah, he loves it when other lion dragons enjoy his hobby as much as he does. Sometimes he feels rather lonesome with his hobbies, but this sort of fills that void.
- Helping others with their fears. It's odd, yes, since he delivers them ominously, but on his tamer days, people seek him for advice.
- He loves nature. He's not too sure why himself, but he does regardless.
- He likes smaller animals than himself. He finds them easier to startle and enjoys it most when they screech and flee with their little legs.
- He likes snow. A lot.
- He hates bullies (even though people think he comes off as one sometimes. . .). This is because he means no harm when he pranks others, but he feels bullies do not have these intentions in mind and despises them for it! Graahhhhh!
- He despises cold weather, let alone things that are cold to the touch. He prefers the warm feel of the sun on his warm fur, not the bite of bitter cold snow delivers to his toes!
- He doesn't like sweet foods, even candy. . .
. . . Okay this is odd beyond belief. Even you can't believe a lion dragon who enjoys Halloween as much as the next cub doesn't even like candy!
- He doesn't feel comfortable around beings that are larger than him. He is a big lion dragon, but he doesn't like to feel intimidated.
