Why is it their favorite season?:Autumn is Mandarin's favorite season, because when you breathe in, to him,it's like inhaling the spicy sweet scent of fallen leaves, maple sap, and the warm, comforting aroma of smoke drifting through the woods. It fascinates him how the leaves, much likes Jelly-Bean Dragons, change color and patterns. He likes to watch them drift past him every time a strong gust of wind swirls and dances through the tree tops. He likes the foods you get to eat (his favorite is gingersnaps), and when the snow comes early, frosting the leaves and giving them an etheral, other wordly look.

Favorite season: Fall
Why is it their favorite season?: There are many reasons why Spice loves the fall; the cooler weather is part of it. Summer is much too hot for her, and winter far too cold. The cool, crisp feeling of fall brings joy to Spice's heart and she loves to frolic in it. It isn't unusual to see this young bean sitting beneath a tree, letting the cool breezes whip through her fur. Even the air smells clearer, fresher even. Not only that though... everything around her is absolutely gorgeous! The colours on the trees are radiant and full of beauty. Oranges, yellows, reds... some of them even the same hues that she herself wears. She finds the colours glorious and though not particularly good at it, she does her best to paint what she sees using her mouth to hold a paintbrush. Fall is just the best season for watercolours, and so Spice anxiously awaits it each and every year.

Another thing Spice loves about fall is the food. Harvest is around this time and one of her favourite things is biting into a crisp apple. Helping make apple pie, and hiding the apples within her pouch is also a common occurrence with this young bean. Being of a helpful nature, she loves nothing more than aiding in the collecting and then preserving of food for the upcoming winter. As well, being raised in Canada, she celebrates Thanksgiving a bit earlier than other beans. October means tasty treats and Spice can't get enough. The smell of the turkey in the oven, the pumpkin pie [which she was of course named after, when her face was found buried in one], and all vegetables, including sweet potato. The unity that this brings between her and her jam is something she also cherishes.

Halloween is also a notable holiday which she celebrates shortly after Thanksgiving. Spice has a very big sweet tooth, especially for chocolates. Dressing up in costume [usually one she makes, being her artsy self] and going door to door is an exciting time of this season. Her pouch acts as a way to collect all the candy she gets, but she also brings along a bucket just in case. There have been years when her pouch almost overflowed with candy! But, with only a sweet tooth for chocolate, most of the candy goes to the other beans in her jam.

Fall for her is the beauty of nature, but the company of good friends, family and food. Plus... a good romp in the leaves is never a bad thing either.

Peach Marmalade
There are some reasons why I picked Peach Marmalade for her name. Marmalade in italian means every jam andshe isn't just sweet like strawberry jam but can almost be tart and corky too like boysenberry jam. She has a very colorful personality and you can almost match it with many types of jams. But she can be very bitter sweet at time along with silly and full of surprises. But Why I put peach to put in front of her name isn't just because there is another JBD is named Marmalade, But She herself can be very peachy and when she blushes her cheeks looked almost peachy red with her color of fur. Her marking also remind me of when you bite into a ripe peach for the first time as it burst with flavor and full of soul and sweet flavors. Peach Marmalade is what I think of when I see her, For she dose have those soft spots that make her all gooey inside just like jam.

Though the coloring of her fur can make her very guy like in a way, Peach is rather like a tomboy and isn't afraid to get down and dirty with gardening. She really isn't a big girly girl but at some times she can be on the girly side. She loves to play out side instead of with any sort of doll.

The Lovely Time Of Fall

The reason why Marmalade loves fall so much is because this is season where so many things start going on in life. She loves how the weather cools off from the hot summer months and how she can see and feel the season changing all around her. She loves to play in the fall leaves and the sound of the colorful leaves crunching under her paws. This is also the time when all the fruit is ripe and its a perfect time to make Jams and Jelly. She loves to pick fruit and gather it before the cold season has a chance the frost them. With gathering of her fruits from her garden, the farms start their own harvest that normally leads to the county fair. She loves how the carnaval comes to town and with all the live stock shows and stands the sell home made good's. She also loves to get on the rides and eat the food that the fair has to offer such as roasted almonds covered in a sugary cinnamon mix. She also loves the sweet smells that are know for during this time of year such cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. This is also the perfect time for her to curl up with a book by the fire place and tucker down with her blanked along with a hot cup of coco. This is also the season that starts to bring every one closer, For her favorite holiday's is Thanks giving and Halloween.

Marmalade loves Thanks Giving for she feels like this is the time everyone is more focused about the love ones around them and not receiving gifts. She loves the smells that come from the kitchen as the large turkey is baking in the oven and the sweet apple and pumpkin pies sit in the window to cool off. She loves to make the mash potatoes in hopes of getting the spoon afterwords as a before dinner treat and get the cranberry sauce ready. Though normally her job is to set the table, she loves to try and pour the gravy from turkey into the special gravy bowl that her family have used ever since she could remember and hopes to inherit one day to remember all the good times she has had with her family. Once the rolls are baked and ready to go she and her family sit down to eat, as they eat they tell tales off the great times they have had the past year and all of their jokes.

But before Marmalade gets ready for the giant feast with her family in November, She gets ready for another fun filled holiday. She also is a huge fan of Halloween. I mean who doesn't love halloween! She loved to go out to the pumpkin farms to pick out her very own pumpkin to carve up and loved to ride the tractors and go though the haunted houses. Marmalade thinks that a good scare once in a while is goof for you and loves to go though the corn maze, though she tends to get lost a lot she loves them anyways for their like there own mini adventure. She also loves to go to the halloween stores and dress up for the occasion, she thinks no one will ever be to old to dress up and loves to see all the decorations. Though she would like to be something scary once in a while she wants to make sure she isn't to scare so she can help hand out candy when she is tired from all the walking she dose going tricker treating. Marmalade normally gets her costume on in the morning so she can wear it all day and sometimes will fall asleep in it once she is tuckered out. Though she loves to give out the treats some times she loves all the treats she gets and normally with stash some way in a secret place and some in her pouch. She especially love the chocolate ones with nuts.

Though with all of the great events and stuff that go on during the great time of year Marmalade shockingly loves the fact that this is when school starts up once again. She loves to learn and loves to meet her new teacher and all her new classmates in hopes of making friends. She loves to learn and loves to get out of the house every day too. She enjoys to learn new things and enjoys hanging out with other JBD and doing group projects. She is a very bright jelly and cant waits to find out something new. She also has her birthday in this season (September) and loves to celebrated it as school and at home.

These are the majority of the reasons why she loves the season so much. There is tones of things that goes on and many things to do, along with Thanks Giving and Halloween. She loves this season a lot and can't understand why a lot of people prefer the hot sticky months of summer then the festive and fun times that the fall brings.

Arcturus

Arcturus is one of the brightest stars Boötes, as this orange star is the fourth brightest star in the universe. This star is mostly known as the Red star. It is said to be called that of it colour we see from the naked eye. Click here. to see the image. Another calling of this star is a Greek name as the "Guardian of the bear." Arcturse is a name choosen to suit him well, as the design on his fur display to me as a blazing, hot star.

Summer

Nothing stops Arcturus from having a sucessfully, joyful time when Summer hits town! It is one of his most faveourite time of the year all round!

Summer time means fun time, as Arcturus loves the breeze of the heat blow against his soft fur as he plays in the hot sun. Summer has a long holiday, which means he has more time to play in the happy and bright sun all day! He loves to vist the beach every now and again to cool off in the water while catching some waves. After Arcturus has had a good swim, he loves to lie in the smooth sand and rest in the warmth. When Arcturus is at home, he loves to wonder off and have a little adventure in the felids. It can get pretty hot for a while, but he enjoys the feeling under his paws. There are many things to do while having a brilliant time in his hot summer, to many things to explain!

Arcturus loves to have party celebrations, as he likes to welcome the summer and say goodbye to spring. He loves to invite all his friends and make sure they have a good time. His favourite celebration drink is Sunkist, as he thinks it is a great summer soda. He parties all night and all day, as he is a very summer party animal dancing in the beginning of the summer heat. When the weather decides to turn upside down and dribble rain, ruining his summer vacation, he sadly sits in side. When he’s not doing anything, he usually grabs a book. He’s not a big fan of reading books, but he likes to read the adventures and mysterious with a twist to it. Sometimes he vist the library and studies some history of the Jellybeans before him. Lots of friends call him “Party Nerd”, which is a nickname for him since he likes to party and read books. When the sun peeks out from the grey clouds, Arcturus is already back outside having more fun as his summer is quickly disappering.

Every Halloween, and a few days before and after, the brilliant star named Arcturus sets at the same time and on the same spot on the western horizon as the summer sun. Since Arcturus was born on the day of Halloween, he absolutely loves to do it! It is his most favourite event of the whole summer! Arcturus studied that the bright star named after him was called the “ghost of the summer sun” as it is known as “the brilliant pumpkin”. From this calling of his name, he obviously loves to dress up as a Pumpkin. As soon as the glowing sun goes down and the bright moon rises, Arcturus is already out and about Tricking and Treating! He loves to collect and fill up his bucket with all the sweets and treats. Although Halloween marks the end of his enjoyable summer, Arcturus likes to have little celebration parties for the coming autumn as the air begins to cool down. He always misses the good times at summer, and it will be another year’s wait for it to come around again before he has more plans to spend it.

He loves his summer. It is his best and favourite time of the year!
