What is a Jellybean Dragon?
A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored and it's always neat and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

Woot! A semi-steampunk themed JBD. c: I got permission to make his paw mechanical. So yeah, not a real paw. I am not good at steampunk, so if it looks off then whatevs. xD

I quite like this guys color scheme- if you cannot tell hes supposed to be natural but with a rust color.

How he lost his paw: (Sorry if it's a story, i tried just to explain it. Disqualify me if this is not appropriate.)

My name may be the thing I love most, but that's how it is. These goggles? They are my fathers, this bandanna? Is from a long lost relative. This paw? Yes, it has its story. To be fair, I'll tell it to you, a short explanation. if you do something for me, I'll share that with you after I've told you. So, this one day, I couldn't help but take flight to the sky, I'm just a Jellybean dragon, and there aren't any planes made for our kind yet. The only human I know always takes me. Also, this is the only way I travel, and by foot of course. But, as they say, that sky is indeed the limit. I assure you, I knew there was a storm coming, but I was to ignorant, and that cost me a few things that day.

The only human I trusted more than anyone else on this land had said to me a few thing. Such as getting in the plane and taking off to go see my relatives. It's funny, I remember how vivid her movements were. I called out her name, and I knew that there was a storm coming, but I ignored it. I thought it'd be okay since we were going east, and it was coming in west. Also, I may put in, surprising, Shelby was one who understood our kind, unlike most humans. She grew up with me, and I knew there was a strong connection.

The wind was getting stronger, this could be dangerous. Shelby wasn't saying anything, so I assumed everything would be alright. I just jumped into the plane, and we were off. A smiled flew across my face. Flight. I don't know, but something quickly went wrong. The wind became to strong, so her whole body jumping out of the front seat, and grabbed me. We were going down. And that, my listeners, it when we crashed into a small barn. No, Shelby didn't die. She simply got wounds and healed, as of I. My paw had been caught in a tight space, and lost, I suppose is the correct word. Now, promise me. You can never be to careful.

How he lost his paw:

"Well,that's quite a long story,but I won't bore you with the details."

When Cyrus was a just little bean,he had a love for planes,and birds,and flight.He admired the way his Grandfather and father had flown through the air,and dreamed of doing the same.Every day Cyrus would ask one of them if he could go flying,but each time they'd tell him no.

But Cyrus was stubborn,stupid,and too curious for his own good.As his family slept,Cyrus was sneaking away to the plane,and he hopped inside and started to pretend he was flying,he even put on his father's aviation goggles,and his mother's lucky bandana. Cyrus clicked buttons and suddenly the plane turned on,and started up.Terrified,He clicked more buttons to try to turn it off,but he'd only made it worse.As the plane started to lift into the air,the unexperienced jellybean was watching the sky as it boomed.He'd made a terrible mistake in ignoring the storm clouds gathering earlier in the day,and he looked up,wide-eyes at the dark clouds that loomed over him. The clouds boomed again and rain started to fall onto the plane.Lightning cracked across the sky,and the rusty colored JBD,was desperately trying to fly the plane through the clouds.Luckily,he'd payed much attention to his father when he flew,so he knew how to move the plane left and right,but nothing more then that.Blood roared in Cyrus's ears as he maneuvered through the clouds.Lightning shot down onto the wet metal plane,and fire erupted ,and he started to hurtle down to the earth.

It was a nice fall morning when I decided to take my brown rusty plain for a spin.I started that baby up.I could here her roar.I jumped in as I prepared for take off.I drove the rusty plain nice and high.I could see the clouds it was a nice view.I then decided to head down to the ground.As I headed down I felt the plain tilt a bit.It then stopped for a secand Before I knew it the plain had been flipped over and it landend with a thud.I moaned in so much pain.I then got up.The last thing I remember is the blade falling on top of me.The blade then sliced my paw off.I was in so much pain.I was rushed to the emergancie room.They fixed my paw up.They then replaced my old paw with a robotic paw.Im up and working Again and in always at your service.

Sorry about the length. I was trying to show the motivation; why he stayed in one place and let himself get cut up and lay in the cold
His human used to be a pilot. Well him and his human had taken a trip up north in Alaska. While up there, they decided to take a spin in the airplane. His human, unfortunatly, was not used to the weather up in Alaska and they hit a bad turbulence. He lost control and the plane crashed, knocking the dragon out in the process. Not only was his paw cut into at the wrist, but it was burnt badly as well. He woke up about three hours later in a bad storm. Despite that and the horrible burns and cuts all over his body, he searched for his human in the wreckage. The body of the plane had flipped over, that's where he found him; stuck in his seat underneath the plane. His human was alive, he could tell. But he wouldn't wake up. He collected wood from the nearby forest and started a fire. He scared away scavaging foxes and coyotes that came near. While he was taking care of his human, his badly wounded paw started to get infected.
He fell asleep that night and woke up in the morning to find himself covered in snow. He melted the surrounding snow with his fire and whimpered whenever he could not move the toes on his vulnerable paw. Thoughout the day, the numbness in his paw was very slowly and painfully spreading. Luckily they were found just whenever it started to get dark. They were both taken into emergency treatment. Turns out, his human had taken some bad blows to the head and he went into a coma and Dez had gotten frostbite from the night he spent in the snow. And so they were forced to amputate the paw up to his wrist.

How he lost his paw:
"Crikey, a crocodile ate it, mate." Hush, Forge...
You know when your parents take you for a nice ride in a car and tell you to keep your paws inside the window? Well, Forge may have made that little mistake when he was a youngster and paid rather dearly for it. With the cool air being far too attractive to him as it is for many children learning about the world, he let his paw drift out of the window to feel it, unaware of the sign-post that was too close to the road. It was traumatic for him, a complete shock to his system when his paw had to be amputated, but now he just takes his new paw in his stride; he even called himself 'Robo' for a good few years around his friends at that young age.
Since then he has been using a mechanical paw for his everyday life and work at his father's old workplace as a metalsmith, and he tells his tale to warn little jellybeans to always listen to their parents! (Or to have an interesting story to tell the ladies.)
