History: He lived on a breeding farm, and they didn't treat him well. He always forgave them, but one he decided that it was too much. He gave the man who took care of him what he thought was a gentle nudge, but humans don't have quite as tough skin as he does. They were going to put him down, but he got rescued.

History: Hazelnut used to live on a small breeding farm near the wild. They bred beautiful Oxiries there, with a good pedigree and they often went to shows with them. They cared really well for their Oxiries and Hazelnut had nothing to complain about, his life was really good. But he was really bored. Every day was the same as the day before, except for one day in the week, when they went to a show with him. One day, when he was 5 years old, a herd of wild Oxiries visited the breeding farm. They told Hazel how it was like to be wild and free, and after they left, Hazelnut made up his mind. He wanted adventure. He wanted to be free. He took one huge jump over the fence and ran into the wild, at full speed, he could feel the wind through his coat, the ground shaking underneath his hooves. It felt good to be free.

Hazel met some other Oxiries, and he wanted to start his own herd. He had to fight against other males, but because Hazel was an Oxirie raised by humans, he was weaker and not used to fighting. Of course, he lost. He had to live on his own, without a safe herd, all alone in the wild with dangerous predators possibly hiding behind every bush he came across. This was a really hard task for him. As the days went by, Hazel became weaker and skinnier because of the lack of food and water. One day, when he was nearly starving, humans found him. They healed him and fed him. Hazel totally recovered and was put up for adoption, and then .Applejack adopted him.
