Hello! My name is Shiverice and I have been a part of the JBD community for 2 years. Currently, I own four Jellybean Dragons and I would love to add Miyu to my jam.

I've always loved Miyu's name, so of course I kept it. Upon further inspection, I found that, although it has a few meanings, Miyu means "beautiful evening" in Japanese. To me, this made the name even more fitting due to her sunset orange eyes.

this beauty here is Miyu, the one and only. Miyu means 'superior beauty'
in Japanese.

Miyu is very much a female! A lady. Yes, she is shy and sympathetic. So,
why would a male be shy and sympathetic as her?

personality;;
iyu is a typical girl, in a typical, unsympathetic world. And yet, she manages
to keep her life fairly simple. Unlike many of the people in this world, Miyu has
the upper hand. She is rich, tasteful, and attractive. But the thing about Miyu is
that she never uses these things. In fact, she has a small cottage with a pretty
garden. Not some huge mansion. She takes liking to the small things.

eing the timid, modest lady she is, she'd never go into the world strutting. Sure,
she has great posture and a perfect complexion, but that doesn't mean she is
'all that'. Miyu is a giver. What she receives, she simply gives away. Money?
Charity. Time? Planting trees. Education? Reading. For you see, Miyu simply
does not understand why people need more. If they are alive how they
are living right then, then they have the necessities. Add more and they'll
become snobs. Add less and they could starve. Thats how Miyu knows life is
so fragile. She thinks of it as a tower. If you remove one pillar, the whole
this falls to the ground.

f you were to meet Miyu, you'd be surprised how shy she is. Sure, she
can keep a conversation running. A civilized one, too. But yet, she always blushes,
stammers, and shuffles when speaking. Even on the phone. She isn't socially
awkward… No, thats not it. She's just jittery. And she can't do anything about
it. Usually is doesn't bother anyone but herself. Miyu is pretty content with the
way she is, except for the jittering, which is why she has trouble making friends
or socializing.

his leads to her social life. Her friends? You could guess every single
bean out there and not get it right. The only 'friends' she'd ever come close to are
the characters in her books; the books themselves. Her life is written in pages,
for she tells her own story in the loose-paper of her journal. As a writer, Miyu
does not believe in diaries. Only journals.

Personality:
Miyu is generally labeled by most to have a quiet personality with a caring and kind nature about her. However, she is still opinionated and has a voice. She's considerate of others and is one to often look-out for those who are going through rough patches and just listen to those who need someone to. In others words, she's a steady shoulder to lean on and much stronger than you might think. People often underestimate and misjudge her because of her tendency to be shy. Though this timid behavior is usually the case when she's around large jams Miyu can certainly seem much like the opposite at different times; especially when she's on the mountain slope. Her hobby, which I'll go into further later, is an outlet for her to free any of her frustrations and just let loose. She's much more outgoing, social, happy and overall herself in this state.

Hobby:
With Joey (#250) having a passion for parkour I really wanted to extend this adrenaline-seeking to Miyu with the hobby of sledding down mountain slopes and racing to help those who get hurt to help quickly; similarly to dogs who are trained to preform mountain rescues. This isn't as dangerous as jumping building-to-building as Joey does but, with Miyu's caring and free personality I thought it would be a great fit for her character.

Accessories
Though Miyu can't wear mountain goggles because of her snout, she sports a blue pair around her neck. Everyone on mountain slopes tend to wear snow gear so it would be fitting that she did too. I also think the thought of Miyu walking around with her goggles bobbing around her neck would be cute.
