Fave activity: Braille's favorite thing to do is feel things. This may sound a little strange but it is the only way he can really invision what things are like, being that he cannot see. He notices things that even people or other JBDs with vision do not, or cannot see. Whenever Braille is introduced to something new the first thing he does is reach out to touch it, to get a feel of what the object may look like. He knows what it feels like when people smile or frown. Braille likes to guess what objects are by feeling them, this is his favorite game to play. His friends will hand him an object and after a few moments of playing around with it he will guess what it is, and his guesses are almost always correct. Braille has an image in his mind of what each of his friends look like just from feeling their faces. He also loves to be outside in the nature. Without his sight, Braille's other senses are heightened, so he loves to go outside and sit in the grass and listen to the nature around him. He loves the smells of the outdoors and all of the wonderful sounds. Another hobby of Braille's is listening to the different calls of the birds around him. He knows which types of birds make which sounds and loves to imagine what they may be talking about to each other. Braille is happy with the way he is. In a sense, he feels that he was lucky to have been born this way, and that others who posess sight are closed off to a whole new and wonderful world, the one that he lives in.

To be honest, this was my inspiration for Braille's favorite activity. It was a scene from my favorite show the Mentalist.

While she may be blind, she really loves traveling and enjoying the world, she loved being told about what others saw, like the ocean, seeing it's waves go back and forth, or how beautiful the the lights are at night in the streets of Paris, that she wanted to experience it all even though she cannot see it, she can feel the energy from it. It radiates off of everything she passes by. She doesn't let her being blind get in the way of a good time, she doesn't allow it to be an obstacle.

Fave activity:
Braille loves poetry. She finds inspiration in most everything, especially on her strolls outside. Her natural gift is amazing, but since she can't see, it's limited to only things she hears about. Her friend Scribble helps to depict her poems by painting pictures to go along with them. He writes them down in English for her. Braille keeps her poems written in braille in a secret journal that's in her pouch at all times. Though she can't see, Braille has found other ways to see the beauty in life.

Braille has many favorite activity's but his favorite would be surfing. He believes it connects ones soul to what you love the most.

Braille's favorite thing to do is splash in the water of the river. His friends stay and watch over him, but he likes feeling the coldness all over his paws even though he can sadly not see it. The pebbles feel the weirdest when the slide between his toes. Braille loves swimming even though he is blind.

I actually know how to speak Braille. It was one of the hardest codes I have learned; so I get him. :)
