Why Do You Want Her/Him: I just saw her... I have a thing for writing stories, role playing, etc, and this JBD just looked me in the eye and said, "Pick me! Pick me! I'm the best! I'm colorful and bright!" So I decided to fill out this form for a chance of winning this beautiful JBD
History: The only female on a JBD pirate ship, but the other pirates didn't even notice she was there. As you probably know, pirates thought women were bad luck on pirate ships, Aurea was there to prove them wrong. She was hidden in a barrel when one day she heard a shout from on deck. She leaped out and unsheathed a sword from next to her, A mighty kraken was trying to break the ship to smithereens, but Aurea wouldn't have it, she leaped onto the kraken's back and almost got to kill it when one of it's tentacles hit her right eye, she would have fell off if she hadn't of thought about this, she used the sword to remove the tentacle and leaped back on deck, her ferociousness scared the kraken into sinking into the dark depths once again. From then on, people awed Aurea, even the males on the ship.
Personality: She is ferocious and brave, her whole life is dedicated to sailing the seas, she never leaves anyone... ANYONE behind. She loves her friends but she has one big flaw, her grumpiness. She can be grumpy if you bug her too much, but it's usually because of her missing her parents, who were taken by the kraken.

Likes Sea pickles! boats, songs, charms, the sun, the sea and her wonderful handmade trusty sword.
Dislikes: Rude shipmates, The kraken, Sea pickle stealers >:(
Favorites: SEA PICKLES! They are like little drops of heaven! :')
Story: "Hoist the sails!" she called hanging off the crows nest, "get into gear! Hurry up! The sooner we get out to sea the better! I want to see my old friend kraken!" She chuckled as she leaped down. Aurea, unlike the rest on her boat, was nimble and small, the rest were the size of cows, while she was the size of a Great Dane. The rest chuckled along with her. She sorted out her eye-patch and looked out to sea, "Perfect!" She smiled, "Right on track! We should find him soon!" after a while though the smile started to fade from her face, she started getting grumpy and snappish, someone asked her what was wrong and she turned to glare at them, "I'm just about to meet the same thing that took my parents... you think that I am gonna be happy? Yes I hurt it before. But I never killed it, this will be the end...." She almost growled her last sentence, but soon her cheery side began to show again. She looked out to sea with the air that she owned it, she had a feeling that today would be the day... She waited in the crow's nest that day, and no Kraken appeared. Aurea gave up searching and went to her quarters. She was woken by a strange rocking of the boat and the splashing of rather large waves. When she went up to check, a beautiful sight greeted her, it was the 7 legged kraken, damaged, but not yet defeated. With a strange growling sound, Aurea leaped and dug her sword into it's side. The kraken thrashed and threw Aurea off, she landed with a splash in the water and turned to swim back. But the kraken was too quick, it hit her over the head and she felt herself becoming unconscious. She swam under water to the kraken and swam up the way. With one last grain of energy, she cut the beast and it let out a wail as it's stomach was cut, it slowly sank to the bottom. She held her last breath and sank into unconsciousness...

A couple of voices greeted her, she wondered for a moment, was this what it felt like to be dead? She tried to open her eyes but they were too heavy, all she managed was to open her mouth. "She's alive! She's alive!" a voice called, followed by cheering, someone picked her up and she finally managed to open her eyes, all around her, her shipmates were cheering and smiling at her. Someone walked forward and gestured to land, "I think you need a rest!" He smiled, she was taken to land and was given a years rest. She spent that time happily, using the gold she collected to buy new eye patches and charms. When she went back onto the boat she was ready for a new adventure.
