I can't see past my own nose,
I'm seeing everything in slo-mo
Look out below crashing down to the ground
just like a vertical locomotive
That's a train, am I painting the picture that's in my brain?
A train from the sky, locomotive, my motives are insane
My flow's not great, okay, I conversate with people
Who know if I flow on a song I'll get no radio play

While you're doing fine, there's some people and I

Who have a really tough time getting through this life

So excuse us while we S I N G to the S K Y.

(Before I start my entry, I wanted to say that this JBD’s design reminds me of the song Boats and Birds. ;W;)

(Name: Lynn (Or how she calls herself:) Lynn the Greatest Sailor Alive.

Personality/Interests:

Lynn is the most boldest, youngest, bravest adventure in the world. At least, that's how she views herself.
She has an over active imagination, and can turn the most boring days into a huge exploration of some sort. Her boldness can make her seem like a stubborn young child most of the time, though she doesn't mean to make herself act that way. She believes that her way to play is the best way, especially if she's the captain/leader/main role of some sort. She rarely thinks twice on anything, and makes rash decisions, not thinking of consequences.
Her friends can sometimes think that she is a bossy, arrogant, and rude, but they never doubt her strong loyalty or how much fun her imagination makes their games. Sometimes older JBDs might even call her persistent and annoying.

Because she looks up to other adventures and good role models, she swore she would never lie (Unless she really needed to, of course. Like saying she didn‘t already have a cookie when she already did. owo;) and would always do the right thing. She is straightforward with mostly everyone, and defends her friends and family when needed. She is a sincere and loving, knowing she would never be as happy as she is without her friends. Lynn also likes to pretend a lot. For example, she pretends she is strong and tough, even though she is pretty small and cares for the tiniest of creatures, and cannot ignore it if someone was in danger or needed help. She is extremely optimistic, never giving up on anything if she sets her heart to it.

When it comes down to it, Lynn has always loved rivers and oceans. Because of her love of reading, they made her love adventures that deal with bodies of water. Like pirates and sailors and sea monsters kind of adventures! This explains why she wears that silly newspaper hat everywhere. Whenever she goes by the river, she brings along her rubber duck, wooden boat, and her other favorite toys and plays in the water for hours. When she’s at the beach though, she likes to watch the sea life (If she’s not playing in the sand. <:’D) in the water, wondering what it would be like to be able to sail around the world. (Which is her dream.)
_____________________________________________________________________________________

Lynn’s First Real Adventure:

“Hrrphh.” Lynn sat down where the sand was driest, not really feeling like getting her fur covered in squishy wet sand. “It’s just not fair.” she mumbled, miffed that all her friends had plans today. Either they were sleeping in, or they had somewhere to go later in the day. She looked up at the multi colored sunrise, relief flooding over her like the waves on the beach. No matter, she could have fun on her own. They didn’t want to play wit the greatest adventurer in the world, that was their loss. She stood up and looked around, the dry sand spilling off her fur as her body moved. Lynn bounded over closer to the water as another wave softly crashed onto the shore. The waves weren’t that big this morning, so she walked along the foam, watching her prints imprint in the sand and then disappeared as the water washed them away. Lynn was a little disappointed she had forgotten to bring her wooden toy boat, only having the water to play with. “Doesn’t really seem fun enough.” she said to herself, looking around. It wasn’t really safe to be playing in the water so early in the morning when no one was around, so she couldn’t go in the water. She perked her ears, smiling happily. “I’ll be a pirate!” she said out loud, walking along the shore. “Searching for…hidden treasure!”
She looked up at the sky once more, realizing that the light white cotton-like clouds had turned several shades darker. And they multiplied. Lynn knew that it was going to rain, feeling the air temperature change around her. She wondered if it was like that before, since she really wasn’t thinking about how nice the warm summer morning felt. She quickly began to pick up the pace of her walk, pulling herself over rocks that lined up near the beach’s shore as she looked to see an opening in one of them. Every time she saw a pile of rocks that weren’t good shelter, she ran faster. Summer storms were beautiful, but always dangerous since there was a higher chance of thunder and lightning coming. She began to feel the light electrical feeling in the air, and began to run now. She despised loud storms more then anything else. Sure in all the other adventure stories and tales she’s heard of, a lot of cool things happen when it begins to storm. It pained her to know her fear would keep her from doing stuff like sailing through a dangerous storm. She kept running.
Sooner or later, when the sky looked even darker then it did several minutes before, she stood open mouthed and wide eyed at the sight before her. It was an old-timey wooden ship that had obviously been shipwrecked. The wood looked old an rotted, and several places had giant jagged holes in it. It was like looking at the insides of a skeleton, only, it was a boat. She jumped when she saw everything flash white for a second. The first flash of lightning. She quickly ran inside the beat up, sideways laying boat, her fur on end. The blue-green jelly bean dragon looked outside a quick second, watching the sand outside get splattered a darker tan and the raindrops hit. She quickly backed away when she felt the low rumble of the thunder. It was scary to think about how calm the morning was a half an hour ago.
Lynn sighed and looked around her, paying closer detail to the rotted boat. “This is amazing…” she mumbled softly, standing up and slowly walking around the squeaky planks of wood. She heard a folklore when she was younger about a shipwrecked boat, and she eagerly anticipated seeing ghosts of dead pirates. The place didn’t look like it was previously full of pirates though. It seemed cleaner (For a shipwrecked boat, at least) then a pirate’s boat would have been. There were maps of the world on the wall, places marked off with red ink. There were even posters with foreign symbols written onto them. There was a flipped over desk, a few tilted and torn paintings, and other pieces of furniture that had fallen or gotten damaged. Not that she was surprised though. The boat itself wasn’t in a great condition itself. She watched the cracks in the ceiling (or since it’s sort of sideways…the cracks in it’s side?) drip water onto the floor. Another flash of lighting struck, and she felt another rumble of thunder as well.
“Sound‘s pretty bad out there, wouldn’t you agree?” she heard a low growl farther away. She immediately took a step back in fear. She then realized that if she couldn’t face who or whatever this was, how could she call her self an adventurer? She took a few steps forward and forced up all the courage and bravery she could.
“Who are you?” she called out, proud that her voice didn’t falter.
The voice laughed softly, and Lynn could hear something huge shifting. When her eyes adjusted, she saw two bright blue glowing eyes, looking back at her. “Don’t be afraid..” the voice said gently and wisely. Lynn was in awe at how magnificent the creature was when her eyes adjusted to the dark better. It was a giant sea dragon of some sort. She had a beautiful violet-blue scaled body, with light blue fins on its head, backside, and end of its tail. Even its arms were giant beautiful fins. Lynn could tell now by it’s looks that this was a female sea-dragon, since the males were usually bigger and darker colored. The sea dragon smiled down at Lynn. “You’re a pretty brave child.” It complimented, gazing down at Lynn. The small little dragon looked up at the gigantic creatures compliment. “It’s not every day you find a dragon unafraid of something much bigger then them. I thought for sure you were going to run away when I started to talk.” she continued on, still smiling.
Lynn couldn’t help but be proud of impressing this dragon. “Well, not every dragon is like me.” she boasted as the blue dragon laughed. “Oh, and my name is Lynn.” she quickly added, slightly embarrassed in front of her.
The sea dragon watched as the little dragon walked closer to her before she spoke. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Lynn.” she purred. “My name is Aurora.”
Lynn couldn’t help but feel so content at this moment, even though the storm had obviously gotten louder. Aurora looked out a large crack in the boat’s wood to view the storm. Lynn looked up at the Aurora’s long neck, and then at her face. “Why are you in this boat?” she asked suddenly, causing to larger dragon to gaze down at her. The dragon lowered her head so her face was a bit closer to Lynn’s. “Well, I came across this boat a few 100 years ago, and I decided that I would live here. Simple as that.”
The young blue-green dragon was amazed. This dragon talked as if 100 years ago was like a few months. But despite that, Lynn was still confused. “I always thought sea dragons lived in the water.”
Aurora swished her tail slowly. “We do, but once and awhile, it's nice to come onto land. It's like how land animals are about the water. They live on land, but it's fun to go in the water.”
Throughout the day Lynn and the Sea dragon talked and exchanged information with each other. Lynn looked outside once she realized the storm had stopped. She looked back at Aurora. “I think I should go home…” she murmured softly, sad she had to go.
The pretty blue-violet dragon smiled gently, using her tail to drag a small brown shoulder bag over to Lynn. “You’re welcome back anytime.” she beamed, leaving the bag in front of her. “As long as you don’t tell anyone about my home, you may come and go as you please. And you can take what ever maps and books you want with you.”
Looking up at Aurora suddenly, her eyes shining, she opened her mouth to say something, but the sea dragon used her tail to cover her mouth. “I want to protect this place because of the treasures hidden inside of it.” She nodded her head to the far corner of the room where a small clunky sorry looking box was. “You can also have your pick of whatever thing you want in that.”
Lynn was too stunned to say anything, but butted her head against the older dragon’s side gently. “Thank you so much!” she managed to squeak out before pulling away to gather old world maps and books, and even a golden compass from the small treasure box. She figured there must have been more treasure then this by the way Aurora said “treasures”. Saying her goodbyes, so left the old boat, walking along the slightly dried sand, the shoulder bag around her neck dragging beside her through the sand.
It wasn’t a huge adventure like she thought it would be, but now with the maps, books, compass, new hideout and a new friend, she was set for an even bigger adventure.

The End

(Not really a great adventure, but hey. <:D Sounds like a good start.
And I know I don’t have any art posted on this site, but I just returned to CS after a year of not really being on. And because school is almost over and I won't have any homework or projects, I'll have time to draw more on here. If I win Lynn, I'll most certainly draw her a LOT. ;W; Good luck to everyone.)
