Name:
Snaffs
Her Adventure:
There is a reason why, Snaffs has the newspaper hat. She found in the brook she lives by, floating along. Being interested herself in words, especially ones on newspaper fascinated her. She almost lost the hat too, before she found it while she was jumping around trying to fling fish up in the air. Snaffs loved the way the shined and glittered under the water, and she was always curious if it looked the same above water. Snaffs also thought that smooth rocks where dragon eggs, she had a whole pile collected which was covered in leaves and grass. Snaffs had also collected dried up flowers she squished up, or tried to against flat rocks. She did this because it attratced butterflies, in her little mind they were fairies. Snaffs loved butterflies, watching them flap their little wings so slowly, surviving off sunlight and nectar.
Her adventure though, was when she was swimming in the brook, her little paper hat lay on her head. She looked around for more newspaper, but didn't find what she was looking for. Not knowing anything very far from her brook, she ended up getting herself lost and into deep trouble. She wanted to make herself a paper cape, though she wanted sure how she would do it, she was going to. She found a whole stack of newspaper by the city, with A RUBBER BAND!! Snaffs loved rubber bands, and rarely found one. Seeing it with the newspapers got her very excited, especially since she realized a candy shop was close to her brook. Running home, she got lost and it was getting late, Snaffs panics easily.. very easily. Looking around she couldn't even hear the tiny brook not realizing it was farther away than she had thought.
Instead of staying put, her mind raced along with her feet as she clawed the ground, digging her claws deep inside the ground to go as fast as she could. She was tired, hungry and worn out but she knew she couldn't give up. Eventually she came to a stream, following it upriver she saw a waterfall, crashing and spraying her face with cool liquid. The night, was just awakening now and crickets sung their lullabies. Usually this is when Snaffs slept, she didn't want to see the night for she feared the darkness. Trying to climb up the waterfalls sides, hoping it would give her any clue of where she was, in the distance a coyote howled. It must of scented her, panicking she raced up faster, finally she thought. She knew were she was, racing towards her little hut she sighed. An adventure worth remembering she thought, before hiding everything she gazed up and saw stars.
Snaffs eyes widened, what beauty she thought before realizing, this was an easy ticket home. Smiling, she hid everything as usual checked on her dragon eggs and tucked herself into her old blanket. Looking at the stars, glittering in the night, Snaffs smiled. Yawning she curled up, and dreamt about them. How could I have no noticed them? She thought, as she dreamed herself into the night with paintbrushes and paint. She dreamt of herself painting the night sky, and running through the forest knowing everywhere to go, how to get home. Her paws softly gliding over the dew ridden grass as she watched the stars twinkle in the moonlight.
