This Ancient is to never be sold once it is owned. No one is allowed to try and offer any sort of payment for it, if they do offer please refer them to the rules and give them a warning! Once an Ancient belongs to someone it is their's alone, and while comments are appreciated, offering payment is not. Believe me, no one else could offer what these people pay for their Ancients so try to be considerate of one of our main rules!
During one of our many travels my sister and I happened upon an amazing discovery...Runes that can summon incredible beasts! These very special Rune Dragons are ancient and powerful. They can effect and/or control the weather, seasons and elements. They don't answer to just anyone though, only special individuals that they deem worthy of their power and companionship. They are incredibly rare with no two like the other and we have only discovered a handful ourselves. I am not meant to have this Rune. Perhaps it has allowed me to come close because I only wish studying it. Although lately it has been very active, as though it could sense someone special approaching. Maybe it has been waiting for you? ~Jendalie

Whispers of tales have been traveling across the lands as you sit quietly in your snowy village. They speak of two individuals, who travel our world and place sacred stones in the palms of those they believe to be worthy of them. You were approached by one of these two fabled women. Tall and somewhat imposing, she hands you a stone that is cold and see-through like ice. An intricate rune is embedded in the stone's core as it's image resembles that of a snowflake. Her sharp green eyes inspect you as she instructs on how to go about summoning the Ancient of Winter. Stunned, you watch as she vanishes as quickly as she came, and look down at the crystal stone in your hand. Even though it carries the soul of winter within it, you can still feel it calling to you in warmth and expectancy. Hurriedly, you rush home to gather supplies and adorn yourself in thick coats of fur and warm boots. The place the young woman said to go is dangerous indeed, and the Ancient's home is said to be at the peak of the mountaintops that tower far above your soft snow laden village. Terrifying tales have always wrapped the peaks of those mountains, and for it to be the home of such a being, does indeed make sense.
Jaw set and yourself resolved, you set out for the peaks knowing full well that the blistering cold winds may kill you before you ever see its top. However, you must press on and you soon feel the might of the mountain bare down upon you, as if an intruder dares to challenge its strength. It has been three days now, winds have tore at your face and eyes causing you to become partially blind to this endless world of white. You no longer feel your hands or feet, but still you press on. You can not stop, you mustn't. For those who dare stop upon this mountain succumb to certain death. Your strength is leaving you now, shallow breaths encompass your body as you trip and fall into the deep hard snow. You try in vain to pick yourself back up, but have little strength to do so. Now your body protests to any movement, and only wishes for you to simply give in. "So this is it?" you mutter softly to yourself. "Maybe...maybe I was never meant to have a bond with such an Ancient. How could he ever bond with someone as weak as me..." You feel tears fill your eyes but freeze around your lashes as you bury your head in the snow and clutch the stone close to your fading heat. With a tiny breath you whisper what you believed to be the true name of the Winter Ancient before you feel darkness creep into your mind.
A deathly silence fills the air. Where was the sound of the blistering wind? The constant batter of freezing snow? You force your eyes open to see that the world around you has grown still, but with one sound ever present near your head. Was that...breathing? You look up, eyes wide, and behold a solemn gold eye staring back at you. There stands an Ancient in large proportions. "You summoned me my child....?" Speechless and stunned, even if you wanted to stand in respect for such a creature your body is spent from the trek. You try your best anyway, and soon find the ancient lend you a soft wing to help you regain your feet. "I-I did...oh great one....please. Forgive me for not being stronger, I was trying to reach the peak to summon you, but your power is too great for someone like me." You cast your eyes away in shame, but soon find them being brought back to face the Ancient as he uses his tail to bring you to face him. "Oh brave young soul. You are more than worthy to call upon my name. You, a mere girl, have braved the mountains that make grown men cower in fear and submission. You traveled for three days against everything this mountain has thrown against you, and only now stop as your body did not have the strength to keep up with such a strong spirit." You can not take your eyes away from the skull-mask this Ancient wore. His eyes, a warm golden hue, seem to fill your body with such tenderness as he gently uses a feather to wipe away your tears "I am the one who would be honored to bond with you, oh brave child of the mountain. Will you accept my pact?" You nod barely, but can not hold the wave of emotion that filled you. Such a great creature thinks it would be an honor to bond with you? You suddenly hug the Ancient's neck in a warm embrace and can feel the heat coming from its feathers and fur. "Thank you for saying such things about me...I promise to always be there for you." You whisper in the dragon's fur as he rumbles softly back "And I you, my little brave one. Always."
