Username: Calypso Cantesa
Name: Tiramisu
Gender: Male
Age: Teenager
Personality: Sweet and funny. He loves to make friends and he is very playful. He is kind, honest, loyal, and there is almost no flaws you can find in this sweet little JBD. He does have a weakness: His namesake, the dessert Tiramisu. He'll do just about ANYTHING to get his furry paws on a plate of the stuff! He is a bit sensitive if something bad happens to him, though. His feelings are easily hurt, but they can be mended with a big hug and a plate of tiramisu.
Story: Tiramisu has been raised to be friendly and kind. He was raised in a small town. But as soon as he was old enough, he moved to the city. There, he learned that the world wasn't taught the way he was, and it could be cruel and vicious if you weren't careful.
He was in a big park one day, sitting under a tree, moping after being told off by a shop owner for looking around for hours and not buying anything. He had no friends in this city; no one took kindly to his good natured actions or his "can-do" attitude. He began to cry silently as he thought of all the times he had been told off.
"Are you okay?" Said a voice.
Tiramisu sniffled and looked up. It was a girl.
"Are you alright?" She asked. She had a plate of tiramisu and a wicker basket with food inside.
Calypso had come out to the park looking for a nice spot to have a picnic, but instead, she found this poor little Jelly Bean Dragon crying.
Tiramisu nodded slowly, then a tear slid down his cheek. "Why doesn't anybody like me?" he asked. Calypso knelt down and looked into the big sky blue eyes of the creature. "I like you. You're sweet and kind, and you don't find that in a person many places in this city," She said, trying to comfort him. The statement was true, after all.
He smiled as his tears stopped. Then, he noticed the tiramisu. His eyes went wide. "Is that..." Calypso looked at the plate and said, "Oh, that's tiramisu. Would you like some?" He nodded, not taking his eyes off of the plate.
Soon, the JBD and the human lived together, shaping the city and showing it kindness.
Fact about JBD: Tiramisu loves soft piano music, or any music for that matter! He loves it almost as much as tiramisu(And that's saying a lot!).

Name: Samuel, aka Sam.

Gender: Male.

Age: Teenager.

Personality:

Gullible Samuel is extremely trusting, even with strangers. He's bond to eat up any tall tale you throw at him.

Sensitive This male jellybean dragon is emotionally sensitive, especially to dishonesty. Because of his sensitivity, Samuel isn't probable to hold up an argument, particularly if it's directed at his own faults. (Not in the sense of personality flaws, but of mistakes he might have committed)

Stubborn Sam is incredibly stubborn, specifically when it comes to preventing others from putting themselves at said risk.

Kind Sam can't stand to cause disappointment, especially when it comes to children. The male can agree to do most anything, as long as it doesn't involve any endangerment. Because of his generosity in the purpose of offering others his time to cooperate with said game, he is likely to be taken advantage of unknowingly. When a gloomy attitude comes along, Samuel is liable to attempt cheering up him, or her up. If his little gigs don't work, he'll often resort to finding a sweet treat to offer.

Protective Sam won't hesitate to defend anyone even of the smallest danger, he is also cautious when it comes to the better welfare of himself, however, always puts others before him.

Prideful Under certain boasting, or perhaps simply a good deed done, Samuel can be quite the smug little jellybean dragon. He can get cocky in this state, and somewhat of a show off if put in the correct situations. Also known to be quite careless of his actions.

Story #1 “The Storm”

The humid winds whipped around the long fluffy fur of a jellybean dragon, positioned on the dirt ground below a large oak tree. The early autumn leaves were anxious to fall, as a few couldn't bear but free themselves to join the flow of the strong winds, that hurled in every direction. A storm was in the air. Humidity was a cover over the lands, the gusts of air forced itself in every direction, pitch black clouds were already gathered in a patch of the sky, awaiting the orders to take control of the blue atmosphere. Samuel shuffled uncomfortably. Not a living soul was heard all day, not a chirp, not a scream of a cicada, not even a curious buzzing of a fly. The male jellybean dragon abruptly retreated from the cover the large tree, no sooner had he darted with such speed had he slowed his tempo to a comfortable pace.
Alright, no need for panic Sam... now, the storms got at least fifteen... no.. ten minutes left before it breaks out, it's alright, that gives you plenty of time to find shelter.. Suddenly, a lightning strike broke out from the clouds, with it's twin not a moment behind it. It was followed by a low, however long rumble of thunder. Samuel kept his pace at an average walk.
Five minutes.. five minutes..
The jellybean dragon eyes were wide with fear, his eyes darting around desperately for cover. As if it was an answer to his prayers, a broken down barn was only a short way in the distance. Refusing to let his pace quicken, Samuel walked causally. The sky was growing darker, and if Sam didn't know any better, he'd say evening was approaching. The wind, if it was possible, was blowing harder. The male jellybean dragon even though his size was large, and weight was heavy for that matter, felt as if he was going to be carried away. What seemed of hours of struggling, Sam finally made it towards the broken down shed. It looked decent at a distant, however, a bit more discouraging face to face. It seemed to be slanted to its left side, as if it was threatening to cave in. Gaps and holes randomly appear the deeper Samuel made his way in the barn. A bang of lighting interrupted his inspection of the building, crashing thunder vibrated the world of the male jellybean dragon, ringing his ears and nerves. His mouth curled as if he wanted to cry, but instead, he was satisfied with bouncing off of the old broken barn walls. Finally, Sam took a breath, and relaxed himself down, well, at least till for a brief moment. The clash of lightning and the explosions of thunder were constant, as the dragon found a comfortable enough position in the run down shed. The roof wasn't much for keeping water out, rain was pouring down by the buckets, fortunately, Sam kept himself in a dry, well, dry enough spot. It was misery to listen to the storm raging on, as Samuel considered ways to keep himself entertained, but to no avail, he was busy enough calming himself down. After at least an hour passed, the stormed died down. The thunder was now heard at a distance, rumbling gently, moving on to the next innocent town. The rain was now at a slow drizzle, and the winds at a soft breeze. Samuel sighed with relief, however, he couldn't help but feel anxious for the other victims of the storm.
I hope there's no one in a barn!
He whimpered, dreading the recent experience.. very recent experience. Gathering himself up, he stretched out his legs slowly. Samuel shivered with chills running along his entire body. The jellybean dragon wasn't quite soak, yet his fur was damp enough to make the cool breezes feel as though it was ice. Hesitantly, he made his way towards the exit of the old barn, splashing through the cold puddles formed by the fresh rain. The grumbles of the thunder have reduced to whispers, as the sun attempted to reveal it's brilliant golden rays. Lesson learned, looks can be deceiving, that and don't go out on a beautiful day.

( This peculiar story idea isn't very creative, however I wanted to test his personality in this specific situation. As you can see Sam refused to run to the barn, he insisted that he walked. Samuel got that from the rumor, “Running attracts lightning” Hehe.. xD )

Story #2 “Meeting a new friend” (I'll be using my jellybean dragon, Don, in this story)

It was a brisk bright morning in the season of early spring, the cheerful yellow daffodil danced to the brilliance of the suns warm rays, as all the small creatures bounced around in pursuit for a meal. A sandy colored jellybean dragon walked peacefully along a cement sidewalk, it was a quiet morning, despite the seasons activity, it was serene. Sams eye lids gently closed, as he breathed a sigh of delight to the beauty of it.
“Hehehe!”
Samuel eyes opened carefully to a sound of laughter, seeming not to far away, the male dragon curiously came closer to the cheery sounds. A glimpse of purple caught his eyes, turning to his left, he found the source of the fun. It was a baby jellybean dragon, a purple shade of pelt with two light blue stripes upon his back, two small identical lines were on top of the blue stripes, despite the color that is, it was pleasant orange. His neck bore the same orange hue, and once again in a form of a stripe, only with small blue dots ringing around his neck that of a necklace. The similar markings of stripes were located on his tail, and his eye, with a pattern below his eye something that of freckles. His playmate, was a small colorful butterfly, fluttering gracefully around the baby dragon. He stopped abruptly to discover Samuel watching his game, timidly backing up one small step. Sam stepped forward as Don went back, desperate for the baby dragon not to flee out of fear.
Think.. think...
He frantically opened his brown duffel bag hanging around his neck, searching inside as Don perked his ears curiously, holding off from leaving.
Ah ha!
Samuel carefully brought out three red balls, as the purple jellybean dragon tilted his head curiously, his expression wanting as if wanted to ask something, though he refrained from the question. Sam smiled in a friendly way at Don, nodding to the balls as he started his act of juggling. His grip on the slick balls was significantly marvelous for such a creature, as he threw the balls in the air over and over, doing cunning little tricks as Dons face beamed with delight. One by one the balls went back into his bag, as the baby jellybean dragon again was giggling of the recent experience,
“I'm Don..”
He said, the timidness before washed away from him. Sam smiled genuinely, nodding as a reply. The baby jellybean dragon looked up at the teenager confused, as Samuel laughed at little Dons reaction, though it was soundless. He then picked up a stick from the ground, using it as he wrote in the dirt a three lettered word, “Sam”
I wonder if he can read..
Samuel thought hopefully, as Don inspected the writing.
“Is that your name?”
The baby dragon asked. Sam nodded hastily in response. Don eyes gleamed to the discovery, focusing his attention back on the three lettered word.
“Just a second!”
He said, his expression determinant, as he hopped out on the warm sidewalk, dashing down the street of cement as he headed towards a line of houses. Samuel seated himself patiently, wondering what the little dragon was up to. It was only a few short minutes before the stomping of feet came. Defiantly not the soft patter of a baby jellybean dragon. He turned to see a young boy running after his new friend Don, Sam expected that this boy was his owner, it didn't appear as if it was some threatening chase, other wise Don wouldn't be smiling. Though, he kept his guard up just in case they passed him. The two slowed their pace as the young boy looked at Samuel in fascination.
“Hi there!”
He greeted, not hesitating to reach out his hand to pet the teenager dragon. Sam felt goose bump running up and down his spine, the unexpected touch was starling, though, he refused to run off. It was only a few moments before the hand felt soothing against his fur, and it felt as if it ended all to soon. Don seemed to be indicating to the writing in the dirt, as the boys attention fell on the three lettered word.
“Sahhmmm.. Sam..”
He read aloud, as Don hopped up in excitement. Samuel admired the baby jellybean dragons quick wit to the situation, as the human child rubbed his head in confusion.
“What? What is it Don?”
He couldn't help but giggle to his excitement, as it only made Sam breath with laughter.
“Hahaha! What? What is it?”
The young boy rolled over on the grass laughing, as Samuel and Don fell in line with him.

(This one was fun to write! Having Samuel and Don interact was a blast. c:)

Story #3 “When to say no”

Samuel browsed the streets of the small town. The streets were busy with townsfolk. Women shopping for new dresses, children in the window admiring the toys and sweet treats, and with the men preparing for the clock to ring for five. The hustle was a bit hectic, as Sam pinned his ears uncomfortably to the noise.
Now.. I should be able to-
The male jellybean dragons thoughts were interrupted by the shaky sound of crying. Samuel turned his head around in alarm, sympathizing for the youngster that had the unfortunate deed that lead to the action of crying. He spotted the source on the curb of the street. A boy no older then eight was pouring tears over a mess in front of him. He was holding a waffle cone, as drips of vanilla cream leaked down the treat. The answer was simple, his scoop fell off. Sams heart sank.
Now I know what that feels like!
The teenager dragon said to himself, recalling the one time he received a chocolate mint ice cream cone.
Come to think of it.. how could I even hold that without it falling?
His mind wandered before he focused his attention back on the boy, making his way closer to the upset child. The boy hadn't noticed the dragon till he was standing beside him. He stared, startled, yet almost an angry expression replaced it, frustrated or perhaps embarrassed to the fact that Sam had noticed his depression. WIP

Name:Chi (meaning 'earth' in japanese)
Gender: Male
Age: Teenager
Personality: Chi has always been know as the soft spoken teen that had always blended into the crowd. And he liked it that way. To his closet friends he became more talkative but to anyone else, his communication was quiet words and head nods. But he does have a spunky, dareing, imaginitive side: Once in his den he breaks out his paintbrushs and lets whatever he thinks flow onto the page.
Story: From the moment Chi opened his eyes he was different. His colors were bland and his eyes didn't dazzle like other JBD's did. As he grew up, people would barely noticed him. But he didn't mind, after all he had grown up being different. Also, he wasn't talkative or bright. Most of his close neighbors asked him if he had depression, but simply he didn't like talking.

As he went through his child-hood, he met other bright JBDs. They were nothing like him, but yet noticed him. Eventually he started talking louder and nodded less and less, but only to his close friends. But one cloudy day, when him and his two closest friends were locked in doors because of the thunderclouds that were approaching, his friends realized that Chi was not only different, but special. They walked into his den and saw that the rough walls had canvases hanging from then with sharp twigs. They stared at the canvases with glowing eyes and their jaws were gaping. Their were assortments of every type of painting you could think of: splaterry abstract, smooth portraits, perfect landscapes, and much, much more. They wipped around and stared at him with awe.

"How did you do that?" Exclaimed one of them.
