Mild
Ray is very mild. He's socially awkward most of the time, but he has a really mild and cute sense of humor. He's more of a loner, and he finds it very hard to make friends. Ray has always wanted a mate, and right now, Ray is in love with a very purpley JBD named Ashley, owned by me. Ray is the complete opposite of Ash, but loves her anyway.

Musical
Ray loves music. He can find a song for just about any situation. He loves love songs, especially, and songs about hope and dreams, because he can compare to song to his own life. He loves listening to music and singing, as well. He has a lovely, soft voice.

Hey, that reminds me of a song, "The Bird and the Worm!" It's like, "If you're the bird whenever we pretend it's summer..." No? OK.

Loyal
Ray is loyal to the end. no matter what, he will always stick up for the ones he loves, even if he's not so good at sticking up for himself. He's compassionate and loving as well, always by your side. He'll never leave anyone in their time of need.

Ray is very shy. He hates to call attention to himself. He won't attend parties or anything public. He is always very compassionate, though. He's overprotective of the ones he loves.

"It's your turn, Ray!"
I sighed as I stared at the bright purple JBD next to me. We were sitting down together in the forest near the edge of the city. The sunset stained Ash's fluffy purple fur a brilliant pinkish orange. I had never planned to go out on a date or anything, but Ash forced me, bribing me with orange Fanta.
Ash giggled and smiled again, her eyes glowing with happiness and her paws trembling with excitement. "Come on, Ray!" She urged. "Tell me something you've never told anyone else before."
I smiled and blushed. "Fine," I said softly. I leaned in closer, whispering in her ear.
"I've never really liked being around other JBD's," I confessed. "I've always had a hard time making friends." "Really?" Ash gasped. "Would have never guessed that!" Her voice dripped with sarcasm. I grinned. "Don;t rub it in, Ashley," I said. Ash fake pouted. "You never make it fun," She complained. I rolled my eyes.
Ash scooted closer to me. I blushed harder, my orange fur turning a violent shade of pink. Ash blushed almost as badly. We sat in silence, enjoying each others company. The sun blazed overhead, desperate to make one last bright sunset before sinking into the cosmos and letting the silver moon take over. I glanced at Ash, and our eyes met. Ash cocked her head and studied me for am moment.
"You know what," She said. "Your life is like a love story. Twisted, romantic, and amazing." I looked at her for a moment, then shrugged. "I guess it is."
Ash smiled. "Have you ever had a girlfriend, Ray? Or kissed someone?" I shook my head. "Nope," I said, my heart pounding. Why would she ask me that? I wondered. A thought entered my head, but I shooed it away. Impossible, why would she like me? the social outcast, the odd one out, the shy one with an aura of winpyness? Why wouldn't she want to go with one of the strong, sporty boys, who flirted with girls and talked about asking others out?
Ash "Me neither," Ash said. Then, she kissed me.
We stayed like that for a few seconds, then broke apart. "I had to do that," Ash said softly. "Tell me now if you love me the way I love you." I nodded my head yes. "I love you, Ash." I murmured in her ear. "I love you, too," She replied as she kissed me lightly on the cheek, then sprinted off into the sunset, her pelt ablaze as the sun sank down and the sky went dark. I called out to her one last time.
"Wait!"
She paused. "What is it?" she turned her head.
"Why me?" I asked her.
She replied with a soft sentence, that I could barely make out.
"Because I find you perfect."
The stars shone brightly, as if to shine for a new love in the world.
I sighed. Could life get any better?
I think not.
