Art: I cannot draw to save my life,so here is my story:

The young mare looked around,her tail lashing side to side. Corrynn's head whipped around as she saw a shadow in the darkness. She snorted as it opened its mouth and gave a gravel of a laugh. The young equid's eyes opened wide in fear. As her nostrils began to flare she turned and ran,hearing the shadow follow her. She began to zig-zag and slowed,as she thought she lost him.

Corrynn twitched her ears,listening for the sound. She heard hard breathing and realized it was her own. She snorted,shaking her head at herself. She lowered her head,grazing on the grass,but still remaining alert. She had the sensation of being watched. There were eyes boring into her soul,reading her actions. Corrynn's head slowly raised as she looked around with bugged eyes. She saw nothing,yet the feeling remained.

The creature watched with a malicious grin. His claws gripped the bark on a near by tree,easily ripping it into tiny shreds. His mouth watered at the thought of ripping the equid apart. He knew if he wanted a meal,he must wait and be patient. The red-eyed monster growled and stepped backwards slowly. As he receded into the shadows,all that was visible were crimson drops.
