Name:
Felwin

Gender:
Female

Personality:
She is quiet and calm and prefers to be alone. She loves the forest and the ocean, and she can usually be found lounging at the top of a tall tree or exploring the beach. But most of all, she loves the rain and the clouds. Whenever it rains she will run around outside in joy, feeling the water soak into her fur and rolling around in the mud and the wet grass. She hates dry weather. Felwin loves to daydream. She is very very imaginative and creative. She enjoys coming up with fantasy and science fiction stories, but she is so shy, she rarely shares them with other creatures. She lives in her mind, others don't usually understand her. They find her strange and will generally leave her alone. But she doesn't mind, she likes to be by herself. If she finds someone who accepts her, she will be loyal and loving to them forever, but she does not do well at all around those who don't understand her. She is very thoughtful and intelligent and if someone takes the time to know her, she will be a very playful and caring friend forever.

Story:
Felwin felt a cool droplet fall on her nose. She opened her eyes, suddenly awake as another droplet fell on her ear. She pulled herself up, but she was surprised as she nearly lost her balance. She looked down and remembered that she was at the top of a tall green oak tree. She smiled to herself and scurried down the gnarled and twisted trunk. Another drop of water landed on her nose and she sneezed happily. She looked to the sky. It was blanketed in deep grey clouds. This pleased her greatly. She shook her long blue-green fur as the rain started to come down harder. She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply, the moist air filling her lungs. Mixed in with the wonderful scent of the rain was the salty air of the sea which was not far. Felwin shook her fur again, then took off, running at full speed towards the smell of the ocean and the wails of the gulls. She burst out of the forest, the rain pouring down in buckets at this point. She slid into the sand, covering herself all over in the wonderfully itchy grains. She rolled over on to her back as the rain and sea engulfed her. She stared up at the sea birds, immediately formulating a story for each of them. Where they were born, where they had been, how they had come together and why they were here. She came up with so many ideas this time. She wished she could write them all down, but she was confident that she could remember them all. She closed her eyes as the waves crept ever closer to her. When she felt them beginning to lap at her tail, she jumped to her feet. The tide was coming in quickly today. She decided to splash around in the waves for a little while, then she climbed out on the huge black rocks that extended way out into the sea. The spray from the waves crashed around her as she crawled out to the end of the rock and peered over the edge. The water splashed up, enveloping her head. She jerked herself up, shaking her head and sneezing violently. She laughed to herself and trotted back along the rock towards the beach. Suddenly, she saw something that caught her eye. It was lying still in the distance on the sand. It was very small and it was a strange grayish color, it almost looked like a pile of seaweed, but Felwin knew that it wasn’t. She decided to go investigate and she leaped off the black rocks and into the soft, moist sand below. She trotted over to it cautiously and lowered her nose slowly to smell it. Suddenly, it jumped and Felwin jerked her head back in surprise. It was alive! It flapped its tail pitifully and wriggled around in the sand. It looked very out of place on the beach and Felwin could tell that the poor creature needed help. She looked it over carefully, trying to decide how she should help it. It had several fins, a pair in the front, and two on its back. It had large golden eyes and a small mouth full of sharp teeth. It looked like it was meant to be in the water, but Felwin wasn’t sure, she didn’t want to put it in the ocean if it didn’t know how to swim. But finally, she decided that she had to try it. She picked up the little creature carefully in her mouth, doing her best to avoid its sharp little teeth. She carried it gently to the water and waded in. The she dunked her head under the waves and released it. The little animal didn’t move for a second, but after it realized it was back in the water, it started to swim. It swam circles around her legs in gratefulness and joy and Felwin smiled a dragon toothed smile, happy she had helped it. She splashed happily through the waves with the rain still pouring down on her, soaking her to the skin, and the little shark weaved around her ankles playfully.

Why do you want this JBD?:
I really want this beautiful JBD for several reasons. First of all, I absolutely love her colors and her design. She reminds me of some sort of Asian art and I love the fact that she is simple yet beautiful and elegant. I find her simply gorgeous. Second of all, I really enjoy making characters and giving them personalities and histories and writing short stories and poems about them. I think that having an amazing JBD like this would be perfect for that sort of thing. I also have found that I really enjoy drawing JBDs both on paper and with Oekaki and I think it would be great to have one that could help me practice my drawings. Finally, and most simply, I have just fallen in love with her!
