What is a Jellybean Dragon?
A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored and it's always neat and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

Meaning of name: Well, the colors pretty much inspired me to name him that, and the fact that he is a good singer but is shy, sort of like a robin.
Nickname: Rob
Gender: Male
Favorite Color: Orange, red, and dark purple.
Personality: A natural singer at heart. He loves to sing ,and is inspired by other talented singers. He's awfully shy, even with people he'd like to know. He's a fast runner, and caring. However, he does know three other JBDs that he cares about, and if they were to get hurt, he would run over to them to help them. He's also a bit of a dancer, music in has body and soul. He wears headphones often, and his alone life is often spent dancing, singing or watching the sunset. He sometimes sees the prettiest things in the world that most people would not notice, like a butterfly emerging from it's cocoon and the moon passing through a silver cloud, making it glow. He loves art as well, but cannot draw to save his life. He has a fear of thorns, and does whatever he can to stay away from them.

Personality: Altair is a caring and adventurous young Jellybean Dragon. He has a soft spot for other animals, bird mostly, and is fairly easy-going. He doesn't like to fight (or to see others fight) unless it is for the right reasons. He is brave and for the most part fearless, which can get him into a spot of trouble sometimes if he's not careful. While he enjoys other Jellybean Dragons company he is just as at home out by himself and off exploring.

Story:
The dull grey sky covered the sun, darkening the area and morphing time so it seemed later than it really was. A breeze carried a chill that was accompanied by the drizzling rain. Stretched out on the damp fallen leaves that lay at the base of a small leaning tree was a Jellybean Dragon, his long thick and fluffy fur ruffled by the cool wind. He gazed out from under the tree at the small forested area by the edge of town. The tree that the blue dragon lay under was one closer to the quite road then the others, across the narrow road to the right of the tree were lines of small town houses with their lights on and small dark figures moving behind the wet windows. A small flash of in the distance drew the dragon’s attention. Turning his eyes to the spot where the flash had been he paused and waited a moment. Seconds later a deep rolling boom sound out to the north. Picking himself up the Jellybean dragons opened his jaws in a loud yawn. Staying out in the open under a tree wasn't a smart idea with the coming storm so the blue creature moved out from the cover of the tree and immediately felt the weight of the rain as it soaked into his long fur. He only got a few paces away from the tree when a small sound caught his attention. This wasn't the thunder he had heard earlier, but instead a small and alarmed chirp of a bird. Turning in a slow circle he tried to pin-point the spot where the sound had come from. Another chirp. The Jellybean Dragon's eyes narrowed against the pouring rain and saw a brightly coloured shape moving past a small bank. He trotted forward, his eyes never leaving the small shape as it bobbed along. He skidded to a stop an inch from the water’s edge and had to flick his tail to balance himself so he wouldn't topple into the river. What has been a small trickle of water had transformed into a swift river over the corse of a few rain filled days. Glancing upstream the dragon spotted the colourful shape again, moving down the river towards him on what appeared to be a cluster of twigs and leaves. It was close enough now for the blue dragon to identify the small bundle of feathers as a rainbow lorikeet, he had seen a few of them flapping around the area on warm days. The dragon splashed into the water, determined to free the small bird from the fast moving water. Reaching the bird he used a paw to gently move the frightened and wet thing onto his back while pumping his legs under him to keep him afloat and the bird safe. Making a carful turn he wayed back to the grassy bank. Slipping out of the freezing water he resisted the urge to shake his soaked fur so as to not jostle his small passenger. It took a while but the dragon and his new travelling companion had made it to a dry porch at the back of a human’s house. The rain had let up to a light drizzle now and all but a few lights in the surrounding houses had been turned off. The bird's small talons clung to the dragons long fur and seemed to have calmed down. Someone must have seen them sitting out on the wooden porch because the glass door behind them slid open, startling the dragon. A woman stood there, leaning down looking at the two creatures with wide and caring eyes. "Oh my! You poor things! Look at how wet you both are." She crooned and crouched down, pulling a small fluffy cloth from somewhere behind her and slowly wrapping the bird in it and carried it back inside the house. The Jellybean Dragon had followed the woman, concerned for the bird that he had saved from the river. The woman mumbled to herself and set the bird up in a large open box and moved off into another room. The dragon moved over to the box and peered in, checking on the colourful bird. It seemed content and happy, it eve let out a small, sweet tweet at the blue Jellybean Dragon. Satisfied that the bird was safe and was well cared for he turned and sat by the still open glass door. The woman came back and made sure the bird was comfortable before crouching down beside the Jellybean dragon and muttering softly to him. "And what about you? What are you going to do? You’re welcome to stay here if you would like. I could make a bed for you and get you some food too." The dragon licked the woman’s hand and let her pet him. They both rested like that for a while before he stood and strode over to the door. "Have you decided to leave? It's your choice but if you do go, you would be welcome back here anytime, though I must admit I would rather like it if you stayed..." The Jellybean dragon gave her a small smile, as far as dragons smiles go that is, and slowly walked outside and onto the porch and paused. When woman spoke again, this time her voice was a little different, almost sad, "I suppose your right, though do come back and visit sometime, I'm sure your little bid friend would like that too. Good bye my dear Altair." And with that the blue coated Jellybean Dragon, now content to call himself Altair, padded off into the damp night with the peaceful sounds of the bird he saved echoing from the house behind him.

"Hi, I'm Ice Crystal, but you can call me Crystal.
I'm a female Jellybean Dragon, and I'm an extra cuddly,
extra floofy one. I love to dream, because of my
love of the other worlds that we can only get to in dreams.
Dreaming mkes me feel happy and safe, and I love doing it. I
have yellow eyes. It's the only color on my body that isn't
a shade of blue, but it sort of compliments my fur. I reckon my
mother and father named me Ice Crystal because my
ice-blue-colored fur is like ice, and I have snow-like
fur, that sparkles like ice crystals. My fur is very long and shiny,
I also look a lot bigger than I really am with all that fluff!
Becuase, really, I am really quite small for a Jellybean Dragon.
I am around the size of a small sheep, and yes, I'm just a fluffy.
I believe I am a random, quiet and kind Dragon, but still day-dreamy.
I make friends easily and I have lots. I'm fun to be around,
and others enjoy my company. I am sweet and kind,
I enjoy making others happy. I love to sing, did I already
mention that? Well, I love to sing. And my favorite song}
is Quiet Like The Snow by The Devil Wears Prada. It's a great song,
I highly recomend it. Anyways, back to what I was saying... I love to
sing. I believe I have a great singing voice, and I guess others do to,
as they always telling me to sing. Another thing I like is food. I guess
that's normal for a JBD though. But still, I looooove food.
Especially junk food -shyface-. I mean, who can't resist sweet,
delicious junk food. Not me! Some of you probably can, though
I've no idea how. Anyways, enough about me, I'll see you 'round!"

JBD Name: Nyota Maua (Star Flower in Swahili). Her nickname is Nya (Nia) she likes being called Wisp by her friends sometimes, as well.
Gender: Female
Personality: She is slightly tom-boyish, but at first appearance she doesn't seem that way. She doesn't mind getting a little dirty, she likes to pretend to be a spy, too. She only likes going somewhere new if someone is with her at the time, and she likes to surprise people. She'll even change her personality a little depending on if she wants to annoy or please the people around her. Although she likes jokes, and she attempts to make her own, she isn't very good at it. x3

Nyota's mother, Maalum (another Swahili word), was on a quest to find something new, as she was getting bored. All she did everyday was; wake up, eat, clean, pass the time, eat, read, nap, eat, read, and then fall asleep. So, Maalum packed a bag for camping, got a tent, and went exploring. She decided that she was going to walk along a nearby river, so that she had enough water. She traveled for a couple days, writing and making a map in her little journal she brought along. She saw all sorts of things, a peculiar little frog with an orange stripe on it's back, fireflies (they didn't taste very good), oddly twisted tree trunks, a wise woman's cave (a JBD as well), and a flock of over a hundred little birds flying in the exact same direction as the one behind, in front, or on the sides of one. At the night of Maalum's third day exploring, she came across a glowing field. It was filled with glowing blue flowers. She remembered hearing about them before, and she also remembered the Wise Woman's cave. So, Maalum picked a couple flowers, noted down the place in her journal, and started heading to the Cave. She got there, and the Wise Woman, who seemed to be awaiting her arrival, nodded to Maalum and said "Come inside, dear."
Maalum cautiously walked in, and put the star flowers down in front of her. "I've been looking for these'' The Woman said.
"Anything you'd like in return for showing me the way to them?"
"Some more excitement in my life" Maalum answered.
"Alright then, I need this flower" She picked up the flower. "And a little bit of your fur." The Wise Woman said with a slight laugh in her voice. Maalum picked some of her tail fur, and placed it by the Woman, who filled a cauldron with water, and plopped the two ingredients in. She mixed it around, and then there was a poof of shimmering blue fog, and an egg was all that was in the cauldron. It hatched immediately- into Nyota.
