A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored and it's always neat and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

Rising Galia
Why?
A Galia is a type of melon originating from a honeydew and cantaloupe cross. While the colors don't really match up, this beauty really reminds me of a melon, and Galia just sounds so pretty, I had to use it. The rising part stems from her winglike markings and flame colored eyes and horns. It really reminded me of a Phoenix, so I'd name her Rising Galia in honor of Phoenixes rising from the ashes every 500 years.

What are the horn colours based off?:
I don't know, really. They reminded me of flames, and, well, Phoenixes, but I am really biased towards them, so... Homestuck or whatever it's called? I've seen a lot of things about it around, but, I'm not into it.
Story:
I will fight. I will survive. I will be strong. I will rise.

As the storm clouds rolled in, my entire body began to fill with fear. It was just like that night, that awful, awful night. Soon, the entire sky was black with clouds, though no rain fell. Thunder cracked, and I ran: as fast as I could, for a long, long time. Just like she told me to, oh so many years ago…

It was a sunny day in our valley. My mother and I were curled up together, resting in the sun. Her yellow pelt was as bright as the rays around us, and her eyes were a brighter green than any grass. She smiled at me. “I love you, Galia,” She spoke softly, as she always did. I nuzzled up against her warm body, happier than I had ever been before. Soon, everything changed. Birds flew over our heads, shrieking.

“Poachers…” My mother whispered, as we both stood up. Then, I saw them. The sky had turned almost black in an instant, but there, on the horizon, were a group of strange beings I had never seen before. They walked on two legs, and had some sort of small wolves doing their bidding. “Galia,” My mother spoke again, in a scared and quiet tone, “Run.” And as she said that, the wolves ran toward us, and I heard one of them in the distance yell “Go and make sure the dogs don’t kill the little one! She’ll make a fine pet!” My mother turned around to face me “Galia! Run!” She didn’t notice as the dogs neared her, and she shrieked in pain as one dug its teeth into her leg. “Momma!” I shrieked. “Run, Galia! I’ll be okay!” And so, I spun around and ran. I ran as fast as my little legs would carry me for as long as I could. Then, as I hid in a crevice between some rocks, I heard the worst sound anyone could ever hear. I had never heard a gunshot before, but somehow, I knew what it meant. My mother had lied to me. She was gone.

I remained between the rocks for what must have been several days. I knew that my herd had moved on. So I was alone. When I finally came out, I started to walk. I walked for days, not eating anything along the way. Not like I would have been able to, anyway. Then, after I had walked for almost a week, I collapsed, and everything went black.

When I woke up, light shone through the leaves above me. I looked around, and saw a small pond. I was so thirsty. It took me a long time to be able to stand, and when I had made it over there, I was shocked by my reflection. There were dark, almost black markings going from under my eyes to the bottom of my chin. I must have made some sort of noise then, for out of the brush behind me came a huge green dragon. He smiled at me. “Good, you’re awake,” He walked towards me “I was beginning to think I had lost you.” He sat and stared down at the water. “M- my face… what… where…” this was all I was able to get out. Then, he began to speak again, “Sometimes, when someone goes through a traumatic event, the emotional scarring shines through to the surface,” He lay down here. “I would ask what happened, but it’s not really my business, is it?” I drank from the cool water, and lay down as well.
