piece: Angry Kelp enjoyed diving the most, and creating a companion for itself. Sadly, mermaid frogs do not actually exist, but it had fun coming up with such a mythical beast. Diving taught Angry Kelp how to be careful and quiet underwater, so as to not disturb the environment and beautiful Coral.

piece: Brine learned a lot in this class. She’s always been fascinated with the ocean and this class has been an excellent way for her to learn about her favorite aquatic place! Brine has gained not only knowledge but also respect for her home away from home. She sure hopes that there is a Marine Bio 102 class that she can attend next year!

piece: Hannibal learned a LOT about sea creatures and the underwater world! More than he normally would as he’s not an avid facts seeker but he did LOVE the booth. The items were cool and the chicoons were so friendly and nice!! Hannibal’s favourite part of the booth was getting to learn a new fact every day and hang out with some of the coolest chicoons he knows while exploring the sea and getting to meet new sea friends! Seeing so many chicoons swimming and showing and interest in the marine environment was super cool, and he got to see some fun creatures too. Trying on the gear was good too, and he felt pretty cool in a set of goggles.

piece: Magnus loved talking about his favorite sea creature, swimming, and just being more conscious of the world of marine biology in general. It was also fun seeing how much everyone else around him got involved too. Ultimately, the marine biology class was a fun environment both in and out of the classroom and he is glad he got to partake in it!
