Jīqìrén was created to explore space, find other planets, and discover alien creatures.
He's able to levitate or fly through space with ease, along with the help of his lithe
body and jet-pack propellers. His laser vision is used as a defense in case of danger,
and he has had to use it against vicious aliens. Although his mission is peaceful,
there have been times where he's almost been killed by confused creatures.

He currently resides on the planet Phol'ue, home to fire-wielding aliens that have
taken a liking to him and are now showing him all aspects of their culture. In a
month, Jīqìrén will have to return to earth and report back to Starfleet about his
findings. Besides, that is his duty and that's why he was created in the first place.

misdirections. Her favorite trick, perhaps, is to pull a
copper coin from one's ear ─ it's a classic, and always wins
her looks of amazement. Even with her hatred of being a
sham, Yvaine feels a surge of pride when she hears the roar
of the audience. She can't help but smile when she sees the
faces of children enthralled by her show.

years, Yvaine has made quite a name for herself. When she's
done with a show, she takes off her hat, and asks for a bit of
