The little room with words and cheer,
But silent feet are on the hill,
Across the window veiled eyes peer.
The hosts of lovers, young in death,

Remembering faces, warmth and breath—
And they shall seek till it is light.
Then let the white-flaked logs burn low,
Lest those who drift before the storm
See gladness on our hearth and know

This forest looks the way
Nightingales sound.
Tall larches lilt and sway
Above the glittering ground:
The wild white cherry spray
Scatters radiance round.
The chuckle of the nightingale
Is like this elfin wood.
Even as his gleaming trills assail
The spirit's solitude,
These leaves of light, these branches frail
Are music's very mood.
The song of these fantastic trees,
The plumes of frost they wear,
Are for the poet's whim who sees
Through a deceptive air,
And has an ear for melodies
When never a sound is there.

Love will always be hard to handle
Love is giving up your heart to someone and trusting them to not let it shatter
But, who is saying they won’t just scatter?
Love is like a candle
The flame will flicker and fade
It will slowly die and make fear strike your heart
It will feel like it’s being ripped apart
But there is no need to be afraid
Love is just a vandal
It sneaks up on you and makes your heart stutter
It throws your other emotions to the gutter
Some might even say love’s a scandal
Leaving your heart twisted and played
It makes you want to turn back and restart
But really, it’s all a work of art
You just need to find your own shade
Cover your canvas with bright lights
Don’t even blink for you won’t want to miss a second
They will fly swiftly like sprites
They will be gone in a millisecond
So shed your heart from its armor
For the purity of it is such a charmer
