pearl dug gently pulled out two short music sheets. she set th
em above her piano, careful not to knock anything over. she st
arted playing the tune carefully. she realized a certain key sou
nded odd, and underlined the note. she then trial and error-ed
with different keys, and finally found a suiting one. she re-start
ed the song, and listened cautiously to the melody, making cert
ain she played it correctly. it was a calming night. she felt com
fortable with the birds chirping by her window, and the candles
lighting the dark starry room. her piano was against a window,
which she liked since she could always look outside into the wo
ods. the beautiful starry sky filled her with hope. she flipped h
er music sheets, and began playing a different song. the song s
he played was her mothers. she played it every night in memo
ry of the kind woman. she finished the song, and put her sheet
s away. she closed the piano, and walked onto her balcony. s
he read aloud a beautiful letter her mother wrote her the nigh
t before she passed. 'my dear, pearl. my beautiful pearl. ever
y night i think of you, and i miss you. i will be fine, and i will
be with you soon, i promise. always remember that i love yo
u, and no matter where you are, i'll always be with you. whe
never you need me.' the words brought a smile to pearls fa
ce and she gently folded it up. she put it back into the rose
-painted chest, where she kept her mothers photos. 'i love
you, mother.' she walked back into her small cottage, list
ening to the last chirps of a blue bird before it went to sle
ep. she poked her head outside to see it sitting on its nest
and smiled. she walked into her bedroom, and fell asleep.

Name: Eleon (Pronounced l-eon) He can be called Leon or Leo though he doesn't mind.
I used this name recently but I didn't win and I feel the name fits him much better anyway so I hope that doesn't hurt my chances any, though I don't know why it would I'm rather paranoid. ;x;<3
Nightly Bedtime Routine: 400/400
Eleon is a mountain of a kalon, however he is also one of the most gentle kalons you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. Eleon has always had a feeling of obligation to help those around him. Working as a florist and part time aromatherapist it's easy to tell that he takes pleasure in all things that smell and look lovely. Somehow this generous giant found a way to combine his desire to help while also using the leftover flowers at the end of the day that no one seems to want.

His first bedtime routine actually starts pretty early. Right after he gets off of work he gathers up all the flowers he can carry and he takes them to the local hospital. He spends about an hour sometimes two (or even more if he gets caught up talking) walking around to each patient and giving them the flower of their choice. While he always wishes he could get to everyone, sometimes he doesn't have the time so he tries to prioritize those who look particularly lonely. He wants to make them feel like someone cares, whether they're there for a broken toe or something life threatening.

His second bedtime routine is actually still in his local hospital. He spends his last free hour of the day in the children's ward. Playing with those who can play and reading to those who can't. All the staff love him and welcome him each day, they often joke that he should get a job there because there is just something about him that makes the patients light up. No matter how shy or ornery they have been up until meeting him. He always has the same response though, "I don't want to be paid to visit and have fun with my friends. I come here everyday because going to bed each night knowing I helped all of my friends here smile and laugh is all I've ever wanted."

His final routine before bed actually happens at home. Whatever time is left over after getting home Eleon spends turning whatever flowers he wasn't able to hand out or sell in his shop into fragrant oils and lotions which he uses for his aromatherapy. After a nonstop day Eleon is pretty much left with no time except for maybe a bath before he collapses in his bed dreaming of who he'll meet tomorrow.

I wanted to draw this out but I felt I could do a much better job describing it than if I tried to draw it. v///v
