Close your eyes.
Breathe it in.
Humid air seeps into your lungs, spurred on the wind with the scent of salt and brine. The ground beneath your feet isn't steady and solid, nor is it mushy and wet. It shifts with your every breath; sand. You expect to see a beautiful beach when you open your eyes; the sound of waves dancing along the shoreline is unmistakable. But instead of seeing pristine white sand and clear blue waters you see something that many take for granted. The beach sand is dirty, pebbly; a dark tan that is both natural and unnatural. Brown, dried sea plants lay just out of reach of the lazy waters like monsters washed ashore. Strewn among it were trash and fish carcasses. Now that you think about it, there is a distinct, unpleasantly fishy scent in the air. Gray clouds cover the blue of the sky, giving the dreary place a depressing hue. This beach is not beautiful, not one you would ever travel to if given half a chance. It is ugly and odd. Even the reliable ocean waters are unattractive; they are a cloudy brown color, one found along the Gulf coast. It stretches for miles in either direction, battling with the sands.

You are so taken by this landscape that at first you don't notice the furred figure nestled in the sand despite the striking blue that marks her fur. She stares out at the ocean with those bi-colored eyes of hers, seeing yet not seeing. Reliving the past, when the ocean washed black against the shore, when the fish bellied up, when the birds themselves collapsed in the sand. She would not forget.
To you or me, this place was ugly; a polluted scar blending in with the coastline. To her it was a beautiful, unconventional place where the strong survived.

Location:// Cher was found hanging around the wasteland of Chernobyl, Ukraine - the site of a nuclear disaster that occured ages ago. There wasn't much radiation left, but there seemed to have been enough to alter her looks, as she has an unusually long mane and very unusual eyes. The only humans she ever had contact with living there were researches dressed in huge yellow suits, and they did not discover her until recently.

She loved her life in Chernobyl, and to this day she doesn't understand why she was taken away - then again, she has trouble understanding the rabbling language of the humans anyways. Cher didn't live close to the actual nuclear power plant, or else she might have ended up sick - she lived in an abandoned house, near a wrecked amusement park. Finding food wasn't hard - the humans had left plenty among fleeding from their homes, so she scavanged for a living. She had roaches and rats to keep her company, and sometimes she even played at the old amusement park. Really she had a pretty happy existance, and she fails to see how her new life is any better.

Chi lived on a mountain plain. She had always survived off the fruits and berries she found from the scattered bushes and trees. She was careful to stay clear of Deathberries. The mountains grew tall. They seemed as if they were touching the stars themselves. Though there were many strong prey-birds, Chi always survived. She knew well where to look for food and where eater was. A large waterfall loomed in front of the many caves along a wall face. She lived in one of the smaller ones. She rarely had company besides the occasional mouse or songbird. The waterfall plunged thousands of feet from near the top. The paths were all narrow and look like they were ready to give at any given moment. Clouds and fog often covered the skies. And snow topped the looming mountains. In the distance she could see forests. Also, the roundness of the earth around her. Others say loneliness is what shaped her into what she is now.

Sumner lived in a medium-sized cave hidden within the mountains. The only way in is through a very narrow, and very short, tunnel with small puddles and bugs flying around. The cave itself is dark, the only light is produced by beautiful crystals that glow brightly. There are long, sharp icicles in winter that occasionaly drips. The only noise is the occassional drip-drop, or flutter of bat wings, along with the bzzz of insects and bugs. The cave is i low temperatures, often chilling Sumner to the bone, despite all her fur. Small animals, such as rats, will scurry into tiny little holes and cracks int he walls. In the summer the cave is lit up lightly by rays of sunshine peeking through the tunnel, causing a slight glow to form in the cave. The cave is most hot during this time, often in the eighties, fahrenheit. Almost all living creatures are asleep, deep in their little burrows, or scavaging for food, Sumner along with them. The food is scarce, seeing as she has to eat what she gets - which isn't alot considering she barely come sout of her cave.
The autumn is the best time for her small little home. Cool breezes will sweep in a gentle, carressing way. Little sinlight peeks thorugh, less than in Summer, however. More animals are out and about during this time. The temperates are in the mid seventuies and early eighties. The spring is cool and damp, being after winter, of course. Small puddles still lay scattered around. The temperatures are mild, often in the seventies.

I would call her Maka, meaning "earth" in the Sioux indian language. I think that it suits her because of her brown colors and tribal-ish markings. c:

Maka was found hiding by herself in a rock crevice near a prairie area. She was just curled up all alone in a small, narrow crack with jagged red rock jutting out from the sides. Occasionally, she would shift her position (which was near impossible in the amount of space there was) and a piece of rock would tumble down. There was no light, no life. -Just a cold, dark, cramped space where she hid away. The rocky landscape where she was found stretches for miles and miles.-Dry, yellow grass, crumbling earth, buzzards circling the clear sky; it may not seem like there could be any life there... It seemed like it was dying.
There was no sign of any other jbds in the area or let alone much life. How she had managed to find food or water was unknown, but Maka seemed to be unharmed. Maka wasn't hurt in anyway, however she didn't look at all domestic. She was very thin and her fur was matted and un-groomed. Much of Maka's history is unknown, but she might have been some sort of outcast.- or had been banished from some sort of tribe because of her unusual looks. The only thing she was carrying was a small bottle of cobalt blue paint. Her paws were dry and cracked, and covered with blisters; possibly from walking a long way. It took a while for Maka to emerge from the crevice and she did not seem used to humans or possibly anyone around her. She was resistant and hostile, but appeared to be lonely in a way. Although she hadn't spoken a single word since she was found, hopefully Maka will open up her past to her new owner. c:

location // Before she lived in the forest, she used to live in the beach. She likes the sea and all, but the beach soon started to be filled with rubbish and stuff, that was where she was born, so she moved into a city, thinking it would be nicer. But she found no company, and she could hardly sleep with the cars about, and the food was not to her liking, and it stinks there. She then decided to live in the forest far away from humans, so she wouldn't be interrupted with her perfect life.

location // ''Before we found this little beaut, we where exploring in 1832 A.D, we used The Doctors T.A.R.D.I.S to get there, it was massive on the inside just like in the TV show! Wowzers! Anyway we got there and stepped out of the magical box. We ended up near an old ruin. Turns out we didnt end up on 1823 A.D by B.C. Sigh, anyway, he went on looking for fossiles of dinosurs. But we never found aanything. So we went back in time to 1832 FINALLY. We ended up here in this old place. Maybe 100-1,000 years old? Who knows, so we went on into the place and started looking around for very rare plants. While I was looking for some, I herd a laugh-a laugh like a kid. When I turned around, nothing was there. I thought It was one of my friends there with me but it was not. So going back to work, I turned back around and Bang, there poped up this little JBD. She was dirty, so we cleaned her off. I thought it was a dino at frist before I looked her up. Turns out she is a JBD. So we went back home in the T.A.R.D.I.S and now here I am!"

She is at Proffeseur Stien's laboratory/home. She loves the way it looks stiched together. Just like her favorite teacher. She is probably going over there to dissect something though...but even before that. Which, she most likely is. She is in the darkest forest. It's near Proffeseur's house. But no... This is where she grew up. She was a wild girl. Fighting for herself. She didn't take anything that she didn't like. That included back talk.

Halley/
Named for the comet, "halley's comet" of which appeared when she was found.

Most people think she was dropped from Halley's Comet when it flew by, but I know that she wasn't up there, from her markings that were painted on. There was no evidance, but, she lived in a large spooky forest, where she hid in the bushes. Because she was so good as climbing, she hid in the trees. Luck had it that nobody else found her, since the forest was thick and mild, and no human could stay in there for long. In winter, ledgend has it the trees become alive, and those who dare enter their territory are never seen again. How she lived in there for so long, it is unknown, and so are how she got those painted markings...
