Chicoon: Poe
Art/Writing: Poe remembers the day clearly. He was sitting with his love, Imogen reading her a book. It was their favourite pastime. They sit together under the stars and read through the books on their list. Poe loves to read, and he loves Imogen. The one day she fell asleep as they were reading and he slowly trailed off. He looked to the stars and saw nine stars that seemed to form a heart. They twinkled brighter than the rest, and that was made Poe realize he has a keen interest in Astronomy.

Day [2] Astronomy 101: Community Results

Large Telescope
Those who chose the Large Telescope: Each of you fiddle with the stands, some unsure or not confident with the new device, others expertly setting theirs up and looking to the stars already. You notice how clear it is tonight and happily scribble down various constellations on the blank star map. At the end of the lab, you bring it to Meteion who humms and hawws, before nodding in satisfaction.

Telephoto Lens
Those who chose the Telephoto Lens excitedly pull out their smartphones and attach the bulky device. Some students forget to turn the flash off, but everyone manages to get some very nice photos of the moon! Some of you notice weird shapes flickering across the screens, but when you go to take a photo they're gone. Strange?
Showing the photos to Meteion at the end of lab makes star tear up. You feel a bit awkward but also touched you brought the star-born chicoon some happiness, though bittersweet. Meteion hands you a small brass replica of an Armillary Sphere.

Disposable Camera
Excitedly, you grab for the Disposable Camera and turn it to the sky, the woods around you, your classmates, Meteion, anything and everything is fair game! Without much care or idea of whats in the film, you don't notice a shadow watching you. What you do notice as you are walking is a scrap of paper stuck to your paw? When you look at it closely you see it's the torn piece of a star map, but it's really old and faded to the point where you can barely see the Flame constellation.
Confused, you pocket it to show Meteion after lab and continue until the film is full. Meteion doesn't seem to know what it is either, but lets you keep it, "The mystery is fun!"

Welcome back to those who haven’t dropped the class, thank you, I do appreciate that! Today will be very similar to last class, where we will be discussing self-based and community-based constellations and how they can develop. What’s that? You all saw something strange during lab with Meteion? Huh, well, not much to be done by me, I'm just here to teach.

Anyways. Last time we went over constellations of the self, and as many of you have either experienced or inferred, constellations can also be shared by a greater community! Shared events, both happy and sad, can shape a community. What is a constellation you think your chicoon’s community might have in common, and why?

Prompts are 50 words or a colored sketch minimum, there is no maximum, you can do both!
If you don't have a chicoon to use you can use Miles or Poppet!

Jason thought for a moment. What constellation does he know about that others would too? Ah! Draco - the dragon! Of course, that seemed like a pretty obvious one. He pulled a book down from one of the shelves around the room, flipping to a page that had the Constellation Draco in it. "This one, the Dragon. Everyone knows Draco," he signed each letter of the name individually, not knowing the actual proper sign for it, "right?"

One of the early founders noted down in history. The stars themselves outline the general Chicoon shape.
