Monochromia's cherished object is a wind catcher with wind chimes and a bell because they find it's gently rings and chimes to be very comforting and makes them feel better and safe whenever they feel like they are having a bad day. Their best friend gave it to them as a present one day and they have cherished and took great care of it ever since.

cirrus is a big video game fan, and he cherishes his first controller he ever received. it's like a security blanket to him.
the one allowed extra; [Q₁₀’s plumerian, flint. 98/100 word count.] cirrus and flint are more online friends than “real-life” friends. they met in an online forum for coding, that being one of their most loved hobbies, and after a few detailed discussions over private messages, they began to develop a mutual respect for the other. if either needs help for coding or programming, they simply message each other. because of cirrus’ love for programming pc games, he will often send them to flint for him to check the coding and even play through a little bit, and he takes any feedback into serious consideration, also being a perfectionist.

plumer's name; Jonas, he was named this because his parents were big fans of The Giver. The people in the book could not see colors, and he's monochrome.

cherished object; His cherished object is one of the earliest copies of The Giver signed by the author, Lois Lowry. Jonas has loved books ever since he was a child, with his parents reading to him every night before going to bed. When he was old enough to read, he was given many novels, more than you would give to an average child. He read them over and over again, but the only one that stood out to him was The Giver. After years of reading over and over, he had got it signed by the author herself. Among getting it signed, he had received another copy from her when nobody was looking. It was an original copy from when it was first published, and signed by Lois Lowry on the inside cover. After that day, he has cherished the book, making sure nothing ever happens. When he gets older, he plans on passing it down to his children.

Due to problems at birth, Scout suffers from Associative Visual Agnosia. In Scout’s case, this means that, although they can see, they are unable to recognize objects on vision alone. Although Scout can usually hear or feel what the object is this is not always possible. Even though Scout cannot recognize these objects, they can read very well. Therefore their most prized object is a hand labeller. Scout received this labeller from their parents when they were still young, and it has been with them ever since. At first, Scout would merely label the things they were unable to recognize to help them find their way around. But after such a long time, labelling things has become more of a habit than a necessity, and Scout now labels everything they come across, and at times, even other plumerians. Scout likes going outside, but they often visit the same places. Labels can be found all over their favourite corner store for example, hidden behind products or plastered on the counter. The presence of these labels gives Scout a sense of security, and they also think it is funny to hear how others react. Unfortunately, the labeller has worn down over the years and it is only held together by duct tape. Scouts parents have offered to get them a new device, but Scout refuses to let go of the one object that brings them so much joy and comfort.

Scout’s good childhood friend is Luka. Luka is PPS, so he is still a child, but Scout still visits him often, and they even act as a babysitter for Luka sometimes. Scout gets along so well with the child because Luka is one of the few plumerians who never judges them for their labeller and visual impairment, and Scout can also recognize Luka due to his size. Although Scout is now a lot older, they are still connected to their inner child, and they still like to play computer games and joke around, so the two get along well.
