So Argante was left to watch from the sidelines as her feelings never quelled. When she was on patrol with her crush and another lion, they had been ambushed by a pack of hyena - obviously outnumbered, and with no time to go back to the pride for help, Argante had to watch as her lover and her other pridemate were struck down. She was rescued by some birds who had decided to help her out - probably taking pity on the coward - and she was left to mourn over who she never had the chance to love or at least explain her feelings to.
