Apprently it's a 1.45 percent chance of getting something (there are 40 items) per ticket. This might be wrong, so.... Yeah, but if it's right, I have a 7.45 percent chance or something? This doesn't sound right...

40 divided by 2761 = 0.01447178% per ticket

its actually 40 / 2761 * 100 so 1.45% per ticket!
which makes sense, since ur rolling for 40 items/prizes so the total percentages should add up to 4000 (im p sure)

Chances of getting something with your number of tickets: 40/2761 for first ticket, 39/2760 for next ticket, etc
(This is assuming you didn't get something each time to that point - because every time, one of the prizes is removed, but one of the tickets that is not yours is removed..... edit: actually no this is probably the bit where i'm wrong, i'm not reasoning this through correctly)
Chances of NOT getting something is 1-(40/2761) for first ticket, 1-(39/2760) for next ticket, etc
Chances of getting something with N tickets:
1 - [ (1 - 40/2761) * (1- (40-1)/(2761-1) * ... * (1 - (40 - n + 1)/(2761 - n + 1)) ] = percentage in decimal notation
(Alternatively put, 1 - [(2721/2761) * (2721/2760) * ... * (2721/(2761 - n + 1)) ] = percentage in decimal notation )
That * 100 to get your %

So for me, with 4 tickets, it'd be
1 - [ (1 - 40/2761) * (1 - 39/2760) * (1 - 38/2759) * (1 - 37/2758)] = 0.0546498~
or about 5.4% which sounds... a bit too much lmao probably I'm wrong somewhere up above
Then again this is the chances of me getting anything at all with all my tickets combined, not a singular ticket

A more concise way to put it:
1- [ 2721^n / (2761! / (2761-n)! ) ] = percentage in decimal notation
where n is your number of tickets
