Prompt:Trembling visibly, Everett looked over at Zygo, who was leading them toward the Skeleton Army's training grounds. Everett was honestly looking for a vending machine in the maze. They definitely did not want to enlist in any army, especially if skeletons were involved. How would they hurt a skeleton in the first place? Zygo did not look like she was in the mood for questions or protests, so Everett reluctantly continued to follow Zygo.

Everett's mouth hung upon as they arrived at the training grounds. This place looked like hell. The training grounds were going to chew Everett up and spit them out. While passing a building, Everett quickly looked through a window. Were those exercise machines? What about vending machines?! Zygo and Everett stopped at a field, which was littered with obstacles and other Chicoons. Some of the Chicoons looked as miserable as Everett felt, but others looked completely invested. Everett's stomach grumbled loudly, and they looked away once they realized that a drill instructor was angrily glaring at them. A drill instructor came over to Everett and told them to drop down and give them twenty. "Twenty what? Do you want twenty dollars?" Everett screeched, watching as Chicoons went through rope obstacles. "I only have two dollars worth in quarters, and that is for the vending machine!"

A few hours later, Everett was bruised -- his body and ego. They sniffled as they slowly walked to the next obstacle, barely trying to climb over a huge tire. "Is it snack time yet?" They wailed, looking up at the sky as large raindrops cascaded down their face. "Now the ground is going to be muddy," they whined.

Lynek decides that today is a day to practice support, specifically with helping his fellow skeleton army soldiers! Every army needs a few field surgeons and doctors after all, and even though Lynek wasn't the greatest at combat, he knew at least a little about medical care!

He ended up grabbing a lot of bones and attempting to put them together enough so that it looked like a full chicoon, a proper skeleton warrior. He practiced remembering the correct amount of ribs in the body, where a skull goes and how the jaw attaches to it, how the teeth rest in the jaw, how those ribs connect to other bones both towards the tail an towards the legs, and don't forget the connections to the wings! Lynek thought for a moment about using a nearby blue potion to connect all the bones together like glue... but he decided against it, not wanting to get into any trouble should that actually not in fact be something glue adjacent.

He picked up the pile of bones he put together and started to run in place, an endurance test of sorts in order to practice about running fellow soldiers to the hypothetical medical tent. In a way it was also an balancing test, making sure the bones stuck together and didn't end up falling on the ground- wouldn't want them getting broken after all!

"O-Oh, you wanna know how s-skeleton training has been going?" Manny sat with his knees to his chest, arms wrapped tightly around himself. He was rocking gently in the dark space, dust motes drifting in the horizontal beams of light.
"So.. why are you hiding under the bleachers?"
"W-WHAT, I'M NOT HIDING! I'm... resting." Manny grumbled under his breath, hugging his knees tighter.
"I mean come on! This is crazy!! That Zygo lady speaks in all caps! And she keeps handing out BONES at the end of training sessions! What am I meant to do with a femur and a couple of skulls?! WHERE IS SHE GETTING THEM FROM?"
"HEY! WHO'S UNDER THERE?" Manny startled at the booming voice from outside the bleachers.
"P-Please, you gotta get me out of here."
"Ah.. would you look at the time.."

The training was hard and strenuous, but he was determined to give it his all and offer his full assistance to the Skeleton Army! Mallow leaped over the bones that were sticking out of the ground, the bones shifted to new places as he practiced dodging them. When he was able to stop and catch his breath for a moment, something slithered past out of the corner of his eye. He lifted up his head and scanned his surroundings. "Huh...I could've sworn I saw something move just now." He whispered to himself, shaking the dust out of his fur as he flapped his wings a bit. "Ah well, it was probably nothing," He honked as he caught sight of the ground shaking, the bones would resurface soon, he grinned and prepared himself. "Back to training!"
