This is a shot in the dark, but you could also try auctions? But instead of everyone sending trades they just showed you the bid group, in the end you pick the best one, contact the player and have them send a trade?
Maybe try an avent, like there is a few equids hiding in the pages and the first ones to quote them or something wins them?
I really think the story idea was cool, and whoever suggested picking someone you really trust to judge so you don't have too would work I'd you happened to be busy or something c:
The latest equid was really cute c: Cursed totally different time zones. C:

Maybe do a few more equids that have you write a story for them? It gives more people a chance oat getting and equid, and also gives the equid a much better chance of being used as a character rather than just sitting around in an adoptable thread somewhere. Contests with longer deadlines are also really helpful with the time zone issues, since so many people get frustrated by them. ^^
Judging is more work for those, but figured I'd throw it out there.

I would if I had a tablet. Even if I did, it would not be as amazing as your work.

Looking for: Werewolf item set. Vampire Teeth. Sabre Teeth.

Louis: "If I were to look in your fridgerator- Oh, I started so I'll finish- If I was to look in your fridgerator- refridgerfedarator- fridge- what would I find?"
Liam: "You would probably find some milk."
Louis: "Strange thing to find in a fridge."

Just totally throwing this out there, but would anyone want to make a fan art thread? Encouraging equid owners to draw art or order art of their equids?
And possibly you could hire/ask someone to check into equid owners to see if their being used, instead of rotting in a character thread somewhere, and if they are rotting, you could confiscate them and bring them back to be re adopted?

Im thinking horsy just wants to see them used, in stories or poems. Not all art is drawn, and it really is the thought from the heart that counts. I mean, you could draw it traditionally, just to show your equid some love c: Thats would I would do if when I get one, I would draw it traditionally. And as for the tablet, it doesn't make your drawing any better, it just makes it easier to draw. And still some people prefer a mouse over a tablet c:

@crhyoyo
You make a really good point here. I understand that many people could draw their art traditionally, but I prefer using a tablet. Some mouses don't allow me the movement needed to make the lines. I think that having a pen would make it easier for me. Poems and writing usually come easily to me. I just prefer to write about art that I have done.

I'd love to make a fanart thread (seeing as I've drawn a few so far and love it, love seeing how other people draw them too) <3

and as for tablets I love drawing traditionally and painting traditionally, I prefer it over the digital stuff, but the digital stuff saves so much paper, here's a thread where I've posted a few of my traditional paintings <3

I agree, though before my mouse melted it's own wires somehow, I used to enjoy playing with my mouse in MS Paint :D

I like the idea of drawing. o3o I would much rather draw an entry to win an Equid than write, too. I'm too brainfried to write most days to concoct a full history of a character, but I can draw any old time, and those usually have just as much personality. XD

Nice art btw, Maz. C: I used to draw a lot in paint, too. XD It's fun in a weird way.
