Architectural technology, so architecture thats more focused on construction then design.

Ralonica wrote:I think that horsy should make the equids less of a 'first come first serve' basis. They are getting increasingly popular, and unless she makes more equids, people will keep on missing out. Also, with time-zones, it can get a bit un-fair to some people.

Recently I haven't had time to set up things... (answer continued after MazBourne's Quote)

MazBourne wrote:I like the ones where you have to write a story, it's interesting to read peoples ideas, but also very time consuming.. Could do a lucky dip type thing? Like pick a number between 1 and 50 and whoever gets that number (one post allowed per person) gets the equine? Something like that could be more fair I guess?

And I loathe story ones as I don't really like reading on computers and I think my mother would kill me if I printed them all off. XD

Also I tend to reply to messages at this time but I get 10 minutes before college and at college Oekaki won't save, so you can draw but not save it or post it, so you lose {sp} it.

I can understand the lack of time issues being a college student myself. My suggestion, if you like the idea of more time consuming but fair options but don't have the time, why not assign a minimod? Someone you can trust to judge for you c: you could state under the form who the judge is going to be. Several people would help make a contest like that more fair. The stories are a creative way to inspire people and you do a good benefit to the community encouraging people to use their brains. Like Maz, I also encourage the story entries ^^ yay literature!

Haha that's not just time consuming but expensive in terms of paper and ink. Had any thoughts about the number guessing idea yet? Or a guess the name? Just to try making it easier for everyone to stand a fair chance, I also liked the one where they had to create a name using the letter/s that you gave them

I do try and mix it up. I do quizzes alot so people have to take time and look things up and potentially get the answers wrong.

Yeah, I find some people have posted something silly like a letter then edit their post with the answers, ive seen that before may well have been on an equine adoption form actually.. So perhaps no editing posts should be a rule with things like that?

Yeah. I did a quiz where all those who get the correct answer where entered into a draw for the equid, but people just copied other peoples answers.

You could ask for PMs to stop people copying... but that may mean that your Inbox would get flooded! Also you could do your own made-up riddles, something that you don't find out the answer by searching on the internet.

I think its a very good idea for riddles and random numbers, it would make it more fun and then the adoptable wouldn't get snatched up so quickly c:

Perhaps you could also do a regular raffle? Like, the first nine people could pick a number 1-9 (so that all of their posts stay on the same page and nobody has taken the same number), and then you can use a random number gen to pick who wins.
