Seeing the little guy stressed over their hat. Burst searched through the grass nearby. Nothing. They didn’t find the hat. So they looked in a new area away from the gummy citizen. Perhaps the wind blew it over this way? Moving grass aside with their paws, they thought they caught a glimpse of something yellow. Burst snatched it up and open his paws hoping he did the little gummy citizen justice in finding his hat. But as looking down upon his catch it wasn’t what he was looking for. It turned out to be a yellow ribbon. He kept it though and continued his search through the grass. He founds some rocks amongst the grass and checked around them. Bingo! A small yellow conductor’s cap was sitting on the ground caught on a small rock. Tugging it free, Burst gave it back to the gummy citizen hoping they don’t lose their hat again.

Later that day, Burst comes across a Hay ride and their head wings flap in excitement. He hops on with other chicoons and finds a nice seat along the side where you can peek over. Pretty soon the tractor that was hooked up started to move. Burst smiled as they soon passed pumpkin patches that were bustling with other chicoons picking out pumpkins. Some though had been carved to be showed during the ride and he spotted one that had a bat shape carved into it. Pretty soon they left the pumpkin patches and started going by a corn field. He even spotted a chicoon dressed as a scarecrow. What a fun little ride this had turned out to be!

She is just about to give up when she almost steps on a patch of buttercups. That's strange, they shouldn't be in season right now. Inspecting closer, Sakura sees that it is actually a tiny hat decorated with buttercups! Hurriedly returning to the citizen, she presents this new hat, hoping that it is the right one.

Sakura is still quite young and has not yet experienced anything like a hay ride before. She is nervous to get on the wagon, it sways and lists with each new rider as they get settled, but the excitement is palpable and she can't help but start to get excited too. Big grins are on all of the children's faces, and they look around wide eyed at everyone. The driver notifies that the wagon is full and will begin the ride soon. It lurches into a slow crawl before picking up speed with each passing moment. Sakura's stomach is in knots, and she shuts her eyes tight for a minute or two. Finally raising enough courage to open them after the wagon feels more steady under her feet, Sakura is met with a stunning view of the kingdom below and the rolling hills blanketed with brilliant shades of reds, oranges, and yellows. She wishes this moment could last forever as the sun warms her face while the cool breeze whips around her ears.

Prompt: glancing around, i catch a glimpse of neon yellow amongst the toned down colors. picking up the yellow hat, i seem a bit bewildered about how small it is. It could fit on my pinkie.. no wonder it blew off! The little thing, despite its size, seemed to have some nice embroidery. Little pink and green swirls over top of the blinding yellow toned it down, just a little, at least. I look back to the gummy, wiggling the hat a little, “found it!”

Prompt: riding through the pumpkin patch wasn’t as boring as i thought it’d be. Some carved jack-o-lanterns here or there, maybe a critter; what bewildered me, was thinking how did the carved pumpkins get there? The carving contest was due later, wasn’t it? Why not let the pumpkins get a bit bigger and riper? I glance back to the carved faces, squinting my eyes in pause. You can imagine my shock when one just so happened to wink.

Prompt: Winter was confused but nonetheless lent an ear to the little gummy citizen, after the gummy spoke, he nodded, understanding the situation a bit better. He supposes that trying to find a yellow hat should be easy enough- he was mistaken. It took them both quite some time before locating the yellow hat, it had nestled itself near some yellow flowers, making it invisible to their eyes. Winter grabbed the hat and gently passed it to the gummy with a smile. The hat was really intricate and had bright colors and patterns, no wonder they were upset that it was gone. Winter knows he'd be upset too if he were in their shoes.

The trio figured it was a good idea since they needed a pumpkin to carve out for Halloween so naturally, they agreed to go. Upon arriving at the pumpkin patch and as they were discussing how big and how orange the pumpkins should be, the trio was stunned to see Blue Pumpkins. Winter was shocked, Cookie was in awe, and Pearl was stunned, the trio looked at each other before bursting out laughing. Apparently, someone had an accident with some organic food coloring and viola! Blue pumpkins!
