Prompt: Everett squinted their eyes at the gummy citizen. Did that piece of candy just say something to them? No, there is absolutely no way. Everett was getting ready to walk away, jumping up as the gummy citizen repeated itself. It was not everyday that a gummy needed help. Everett was also interested in seeing the gummy wear a hat. After walking for awhile to no avail, Everett decided that they would just create a hat for their newfound friend. Everett used a piece of cloth to make something that kind of resembled a top hat. The hat was tall, black, and held together with pins. Apologetic, they presented the hat to the citizen. “I looked everywhere, but could not seem to find your hat. I made you this new one though. I know nothing will replace your old hat, but I hope you like this one!”

Prompt: Azuralyn stared with big round eyes at the gummy. "I'm so sorry about your hat, I'll find it for you." The blue and white chicoon raced off and lost all hope until they sat on a rock.... well what seemed like a rock as they was sent crashing into the ground below them. They pushed themselves gently of the ground and noticed that they sat on a grey hat with brown and white feathers. How could they have mistaken this for a rock? They might have been too exhasuted to notice the feathers before they sat on the hat. Returning back to the gummy, with apologetic eyes. "I think i found your hat.... i may have accidently sat on it.. sorry."

A brilliant green and yellow contrasting with the raggedy brown hat they are tied into. They look far too fresh compared to the hat. Wait a second? Did this chicoon just find a hat and put his wing feathers into it??

Prompt: After wandering for what felt like eons, Mania finally saw a flash of a bright color in the corner of his eye. Like a stereotypical horror movie main character, Mania immediately gave chase, determined to see what this unidentified, bright, strange-looking object was. He turned many corners, probably looking like a total wacko to the other potential... creatures in the maze. At last, finally... he found it!

On the ground was an absurdly large dark gray cowboy hat. In the center was what looked like some kind of medallion, completely unrecognizable to Mania. Light gray, black, and white feathers surrounded the medallion in a symmetric, flower-like pattern. Along the sides were a black, gray, and white set of feathers. These feathers were arranged so the largest feather, the black one, was on the top. Of course, on the other hand, the white one was smallest, and placed at the base. The size of the hat looked like it'd fit on some kind of monster or oversized Chicoon's head.

Returning to where he found the strange living gummies, Mania placed the hat on the ground. He looked around cautiously. "I'm not so sure this belongs to any of you, but I figured I would ask just in case...?"

A talking gummy? Vesper shook her head to make sure she was seeing and hearing correctly. When the gummy was still there and talking, Vesper paid more attention and realized the gummy was looking for his hat with feathers. Thinking he could have been a bit more descriptive, Vesper shrugged and started looking around.

She walked around until she spotted a peacock feather sticking out from behind a trash can in an alley. She ran over and examined the hat it was attached to.

The navy blue hat was in the shape of a cowboy hat and appeared to be made of soft velvet. It had a black band made of silky fabric. Sticking up out of the band, all around the hat, were peacock feathers. The inside was silver velvet.

What a weird hat, Vesper thought as she placed it on her head and set out to find the gummy, hoping this was his missing hat.

Prompt: memphis was momentarily shocked into silence, his hand still lifted mid-step, his eyes now focused on the little gummy citizen asking about his hat. this place was weird. he muttered a quick "umm, no, sorry!" and darted off, but soon felt bad for leaving so quickly. with an irked sigh, he set about to look for the hat. one with feathers, was it?

after much time, and still without said hat, memphis settled down next to his buddy, who seemed lost, or perhaps just taking a rest. "you haven't seen a hat, have you?" trench seemed unphased by his presence, unanswering. memphis huffed at his silence, ready to give up, until his gaze landed on the larger chicoon's glowing feathers. that could...be a hat for a little gummy creature. before trench understood what was happening, memphis took a large feather in his mouth, pulling quickly and instantly darting away, back to the hatless citizen. with a satisfied grin, he set the glowing feather down on the gummy's head. this had to count for something, right?
