Chimeric Collective is a closed species adoptable based on freely available lines by SkyGold (link) with the permission of SkyGold and wings by Happily Wrathful (link). All founder level chimeras have designs based entirely on a real world creature. It is only in the lab where two creatures become combined that the chimerism comes into play. When two creatures are combined in the lab the offspring will have features from each parent, determined randomly or a combination of the two, some mutations have also been known to occur.
Acquiring a Founder:
Step 1: To get a founder you must first have someplace to keep your chimeras as well as a information about them. This can either be a thread on Chicken Smoothie, a folder on ToyHouse, a Google Doc file, a custom website, or some other file easily accessible online by staff. You might have more then one Chimera and want to write about them so some options (spreadsheets) may be less then optimal, but are still allowed.
Step 2: Check the Oekaki thread for currently available chimeras or fill out the Founder Request Form in the Store thread. If a contest asks for an interaction between an existing Chimera feel free to create an imaginary Chimera for the contest.
Step 3: Once you have a founder you need to add a Bank to your storage location. For now it will just say "Bank", but as you acquire currency, items, and MYOs you will keep track of them here.
