About Wispiis!
Wispiis are a canine sub-species, descending from wolves. They are omnivorous. The translucent wisps seen on their mane, whiskers and ears are made of ectoplasm, rumoured to be memories of the dead. Wispiis love nothing more than to be respectful and celebrate the dead, quite like La Muerta, and hold festivals and celebrations in order to remember them. The fire that entrails from their mouth is also said to hold spiritual resonance, being the fire of the passion that burns inside of them. If they have no fire in their mouth, something is wrong with their passion or motivation, and they should be loved and cared after in order to rekindle it.
Wispiis, despite being wolf descendants, are far bigger than their ancestors, being around 8 foot high. This makes them excellent beasts for riding and guarding. They have sharp canines almost as effective as knife blades in order to help protect. Despite this, they wouldn't hurt a fly. They are bouncy in nature, and enjoy reciting their loved ones tales to people. They are extremely agile and fast creatures, being lightweight in structure.
