peculiars are once mythical creatures that dwell in the abyss, they never saw the light. however, scientists have invaded their habitat and now they are seeking refuge. they only trust those with a pure heart and kind soul, they are able to see other peoples souls however they themselves have none. they are able to see the dead and communicate with them as well, through the eyes in their tail, known as "irisol" they are able to see the spirits and souls. after getting chased out of their natural habitat, they have taken in humans and their behaviours and have been seen stalking humans on the surface

peculiars are herd animals that have dextrous front limbs for hunting and grabbing things, they communicate in ultrasound. their fur is usually thick and they are mostly found in cold weathers but some have evolved and adapted to other climates.
