Pawchis are curious, friend-shaped canines characterised by their plump body frame and heart-shaped nose. They come in a wide variety of colours and sizes and every Pawchi is unique. The diet of an independent Pawchi consists of meat and fish while domestic Pawchis have become acquainted with eating alternative foods such as sweets. Some domestic Pawchis have even adapted to a vegetarian lifestyle of fruits and veggies. Pawchis like to express themselves and their identity through what they wear and thus clothing plays a central role within Pawchi culture. For example, Pawchis from sophisticated backgrounds and pedigrees might pride themselves in their lavish silks while a Pawchi who hails from the mountains is more likely to adorn themselves with a warm, furry robe or cape. Whatever it may be, what a Pawchi wears tells a story; it is up to you to tell that story!

Tier List :

What determines a Pawchi's tier is the amount of clothing it wears. The type of clothing can be anything - for common Pawchis their clothing should not cover more than 25% of the body, the clothing of unusual Pawchis should not cover more than 50% of the body and regal Pawchis can wear clothes that cover up to 80% of the body.

Common : The most common type of Pawchi, characterised by simple accessories such as bows, bells, hats and other basic articles of clothing that can be mixed and matched. A common Pawchi's accessories should not cover more than 25% of the design. Common Pawchis may exhibit some of the following traits:
- Ear edits
- Tail edits
- Fur edits

Unusual : Unusual Pawchis are slightly rarer than a common Pawchi, adorned with more complex outfits such as capes, robes and ponchos. An unusual Pawchi's clothes should not cover more than 50% of the design. Unusual Pawchis may exhibit the same traits as common Pawchis in addition to some of the following traits:
- Extra tails (max. 4)
- Extra eyes (max. 6)
- Extra limbs (max. 6)
- Horns

Regal : Regals are the most prized Pawchis in existence, characterised by the most flamboyant and extravagant pieces of clothing that you could imagine - which also makes them exceptionally rare. A regal's garments should not cover more than 80% of the design. Regal Pawchis may exhibit the same traits as both common and unusual Pawchis in addition to some rather bizarre mutations:
- Elemental aspects
- Genesplice
- Wings
- Goop
- Glow

RULES

Pawchis are a primarily for-profit species. This means acquiring a Pawchi will either be through a flat-sale or through an auction. There will however be the occasional free adopt - these competitions can be anything from raffles to "impress me" contests!

After winning an auction or flat-sale, you will have 24 hours to pay. If payment is not procured within 24 hours, the adopt will be put back up for auction/sale.

For flat-sales, your form must be filled out in its entirety and cannot be edited. Editing is prohibited and this means you cannot reserve the adopt and then return to edit your form later on. If you make a mistake filling out the form, you will need to repost it in its complete state.

You may only auto-buy an adopt once per week. This is to encourage bidding and to give others a chance during auctions!

Be kind and respectful to every member of the community. Harassment is strictly not tolerated and may result in a ban.

Pawchis are a closed species. This means that non-staff users are not permitted to create their own Pawchi.

Pawchis may not be resold and can only be traded for other Pawchis. You may not trade your Pawchi to someone in exchange for art, currency or other species.

You may not transfer your Pawchi out of the species without permission. You will need proof from the artist who created the original Pawchi design and me (Calibri) before you can transfer your Pawchi out of the species.

You may not co-own a Pawchi with a friend. Once a Pawchi is adopted by a user they may not "share" it with a friend. You may trade your Pawchi or gift it to someone and by doing so you agree to giving up ownership of said Pawchi to another user.

Please do not whine or beg for a Pawchi. Poor sportsmanship may be punished with a strike if it keeps happening.

Respect our artists. Please follow deadlines and avoid excessively bumping unjudged competitions.

Please don't mini-mod. Please message any complaints and concerns you might have to me (Calibri).

A Pawchi's nose shape can never be altered. Despite showing various other mutations in the ranks of the unusual and regal, one constant throughout the whole species is the heart-shaped nose.

Three strikes equal a ban. A ban may be given instantaneously if staff conclude that the rule breaking incident is severe enough.
