Luckycharm raced through the woodland, a wild grin on her face as she crossed the territory with ease. She wasn't hunting here, so she didn't exactly have to worry about scaring away prey. For the moment, it was just Luckycharm, the wind in her face, and the earth beneath her paws.
When the she-cat reached her destination, panting heavily to catch her breath, she decided that her energy was effectively expelled. Now focused, Luckycharm silently stepped out into the wildflower field stretching before her. Now it was time to hunt. Padding along carefully, the warrior kept her ears permanently perked as she scented the air around her. It wasn't long before she stumbled across a small patch of trees, the bottom of their trunks concealed by the tall lavender growing around them. Scampering about the woods through the flowers, though, was a vole. Luckycharm immediately dropped into a hunting crouch, silently stalking toward the creature. The wildflowers irritated her nose with their pollen, but she did her best not to sneeze. Luckily, she didn't, and ended up catching the vole with ease. +1 vole, +1fp, +1xp
However, on her way back to camp, Luckycharm picked up the scent of a badger. Fur bristling, the she-cat scaled a tree, settling on one of its branches. Unfortunately, she couldn't see anything. How close was it? Or rather, the more important question was: would she go after the badger or ignore it?

Ultimately, the trail grew stale. Perhaps they'd followed it in the wrong direction. No matter, they'd follow it later. At the moment, Toad was distracted by the scent of squirrel. The she-cat flicked her tail to her companions to let them know before she crept forward, ears perked and pupils dialated with the thrill of the hunt. Her sights narrowed in on the creature, it's bushy tail flicking as it picked at an acorn. Last meal. The leader thought before she sprung forward, crunching into the squirrel's spine before it could make a sound. +1 squirrel, +3fp, +3xp
With a trot in her step, Toad carried the squirrel back to her patrol before they helped her bury it. Mouse had ended up stumbling across some rush and collected it while Toad had hunted.+1 rush, +1xp
Once the two were beneath the soil, they set off after the badger's trail once again. That was when Squirrel halted in her tracks, eyes wide as she scented the air. "Fox." She murmured, her fellow patrol members immediately on high alert. "Should we go after it or just ignore it?" Mouse wondered.
