the dachshund is a long-bodied dog with rather short and stocky legs. they come in two different sizes,
standard, and miniature. standards usually weight between 16-33lbs while miniatures are around 12lbs
and under. the gray area between the two weights has been given the unofficial term of tweenies. the
breed has three distinct coat types: wire, short hair, and long hair.

dachshunds are known for their straight backs and stocky legs, originally bred to hunt badgers and other
burrow-dwelling animals. being hounds, they are known to be stubborn and clever. dachshunds only have
three eye colors, brown, amber [usually with green ], and blue. blue is only associated with dapples.
unnatural eye colors are allowed as long as they are not blue based, blue will strictly stay with dapples.

this is an interactive based kennel, you do not have to participate if you do not wish to. Events will be
hosted through a random number generators and ARPG style.

• you can own a total of 25 active dogs at a time.
• do not ask to become staff or pester staff etc regarding customs/breedings/founders.
• you may only have one kennel.
• you cannot use these designs for other things, they are strictly for this community.
• you may ask to be added to the design, you are not allowed to add anything without shop items.
• any art/writing must be appropriate for CS rules for the ARPG section.

• all dogs must have semi-realistic designs.
• you must make a storage thread in order to breed your dogs/compete
• there is no time limit on creating a kennel.
• retired dogs/deceased dogs do not count towards your dog count.

• you are allowed one custom a month. customs reset every first of the month.
• you can make your own customs but must be approved before posting.

• when trading dogs, you must post on the dog's thread to alert the artist of ownership transfer
• you are allowed to trade dogs but there is a month cool down before it can be traded again.
• you may sell dogs for breedings slots or items bought within the community.
• retired dogs and deceased dogs cannot be traded.

• in order to retire dogs you must post on the adoption thread and alert the archivist.
• while you may breed your dogs outside of DC, they will not be counted here.
• They have a total of 4 breeding slots.
• retired dogs are spayed and neutered.
• you are able to gift or adopt out other dogs within a litter you do not want.

• bad breedings practices are allowed [ merle x merle ] but the dogs will be born just like
the real world. some may be deaf, blind, or not be born with eyes. breedings are realistic
in a sense.

• produce semi-realistic and well thought out designs.
• will not make double dapples as starter dogs.
• upon hire, a full-time artist may make themselves one custom.
• artists are allowed a custom every month if they are active
• may do customs for a reasonable cost of CS currency only.
• customs must be completed in the month ordered.
• must be active, will be removed after two months of inactivity.

• all adopts must be judged within a month of the end date.
• no adopt duration should last more than 2 weeks unless a special adopt.
• size and weight are preset by the artist.
• cannot make line art changes without my permission outside of accessories.

Founder forms were removed along with the leveling system and replaced with a optional future RPG system.
