Halvard, or more commonly called Halle, met Jens on the battlefield. Jens is a tiny man, not strong or particularly intimidating at all (he can't even grow a beard despite his best efforts) but he definitely thinks himself a force to fear and runs into battle situations he cannot handle. This was exactly the nature of their meeting, and the basis of their relationship. Halle, unlike Jens, is massive, with the strength of a bear, and on this day was fortunate enough to be nearby when he caught sight of Jens fighting with someone much stronger and more experienced than he was. This rescue was the first of many, and each time, Halle scoops him up and hugs him until he calms himself.

how they met;; the two of them met at nico's flower shop. suki was a worldhopper, and his assignment this time was to gather information about a planet which the people that lived their supposedly called 'earth'. he was supposed to gather information about the planet and how it differed from theirs and others they had visited. when he was transported to the world he happened to stumble into the small town where nico resided. suki was interested in one of the plants on nico's windowsill, one he had never seen before and decided to ask about it. he pushed open the door and heard the jingle of a bell and watched as a rainbow colored kalon popped his head out from behind the counter with a bright smile and asked if he needed any help. suki asked about the plant, and nico looked at him as if he was crazy, saying it was a common plant, before jokingly asking if he even lived on earth. suki just laughed. nico ended up giving him the plant he'd asked about, but before suki could leave, the kalon, who he now knew was called nico asked if he wanted to get coffee sometime. that led to a great friendship, and eventually, them falling in love.
