Normally, no. Double merles often have major disabilities, including blindness and deafness. They are bred when a breeder carelessly breeds two merles to et more merle pups, as they are more in demand. They are sometimes kept so that they can be bred with a solid dog and produce all male pups. (I'm not a mod or anything, just a genetics freak!! Don't mind me, leaving now.)
